MEPS Takes the Stage
MEPS Takes the Stage is our performing arts matinee
and evening show which is a mix of music, dance,
drama and singing. It is a celebration of the arts at
Murwillumbah East. All students will have a part in
the show. Please order your seats at our front office
to avoid missing out. Ticket price is $1.00 to reserve
your special seat for the show.
Little Swimmers
This week is the last week for intensive swimming.
Well done to the students who are commencing,
developing and extending their swimming ability.
Our students are making huge gains in this essential
life skill.
NAPLAN
NAPLAN results for years 3 and 5 will be sent out
with our newsletter. Take some time to read
through the results in the different areas. An
achievement scale will show your child’s
achievement, our school average and a national
average. NAPLAN results should always be
interpreted with care. The information contained
in the report should be considered together with
school-based assessments and reports. Your child’s
teacher will have the best insight into your child’s
educational progress.

SRC Cake Stall
A massive thank you to all students who supported
our SRC cake stall last Thursday. The fantastic
classes of 6T and K/6E baked up a storm. A
tremendous effort from our whole school
community! Thank you to the cooks, cleaners,
sellers and buyers. Well done MEPS, $204 was
raised.
Our SRC are raising money for a Crazy Frog dodge
pit.
