Teachers: Murshid Wali Ali is the Head of the Esoteric School of the Sufi Ruhaniat International and Spiritual Director of Khankah SAM in San Francisco. He is a co-author of "Physicians of the Heart - A Sufi Guide to the 99 Names of Allah. Wali Ali lived at the Mentorgarten as Murshid Samuel Lewis helper, and served as his Esoteric Secretary. He is considered a Master of the Walking practices given by Murshid Sam and is currently working on a biography of his teacher. Murshida Halima was initiated into the heart practice of the Sufi Message in the dance circle with Murshid SAM. This meeting of hearts continues to inspire and light her way. She is a Senior Teacher for the Sufi Ruhaniat and the Dances of Universal Peace and serves on the DUP International Guidance Council. Halima is the Spiritual Co-Director of the Cambridge Sufi Center, SAMA. Murshid Abraham is an original student of Murshid SAM. He serves as a Senior Teacher for the Sufi Ruhaniat and the Dances of Universal Peace. A practicing psychologist, he integrates spiritual inquiry as a core facet of the therapeutic process. He is also a skilled musician who invokes sensitivity, harmony, and beauty through his music. Abraham is the Spiritual Co-Director of the Cambridge Sufi Center, SAMA. Maitreya brings heart-opening, inspired musicianship, and a deepening presence to the practices of the Dances of Universal Peace. He leads a monthly circle at the Abode of the Message and is in the midst of developing an embodied compassion curriculum for children and adults of all ages at the Mountain Road School in New Lebanon, NY.
