Hello, The most exciting event on the Wagga Wagga calendar, the Wagga Gold Cup Carnival will be held on Thursday 2nd and Friday 3rd May 2019. The Wagga Gold Cup Carnival is a time to catch up with friends, network with colleagues, view the magnificent fashions and most of all a time to see the best thoroughbreds and racing action the district offers. The format for marquees on Gold Cup Day has changed from previous years, please find enclosed some general information regarding marquee packages for your perusal. Should you wish to make a booking please sign and return the Booking Form at your earliest convenience, the latest you may return this booking form is Friday 22nd March 2019. All marquee bookings must be received by the MTC by Friday 22nd March 2019 Town Plate Day Site fees: Minimum size 6m x 6m • 100 Club/Sponsor $7 per sq metre (ie 6m x 6m = $252) • Non 100 Club/sponsor $10 per sq metre (ie 6m x 6m = $360)

Electricity is restricted. Permission from the MTC is required before any electrical items are used (including TV). Please advise by Friday 29th March 2019.
All alcohol will be charged as per the attached - the MTC will invoice for alcohol consumption. No cash transactions are permitted in marquees. Original beverage order must be paid for.
No extra alcohol can be ordered after 4pm
Deposit Payment A $1,000 beverage deposit plus site fee will be invoiced upon booking, with payment due to se-cure your site location. Site fee and beverage deposit are non refundable under any Circumstances. (including cancellation of race meeting). Failure to pay this invoice within the due date will indicate that your company relinquishes the marquee site.
Signage No signage is permitted outside marquees (Cup carnival sponsors excluded) Businesses are responsible for safety and security of all hired and personal property.

PLEASE NOTE: NO ALCOHOL OR FOOD TO BE BROUGHT ONTO THE MTC PREMISES
Each marquee will have a clipboard for a designated signatory to sign for more beverages on the day. This person must introduce themselves to the bar staff at the beginning of the day.

• Your marquee will close at 5.30pm (last drinks at 5.15pm). Please ensure your guests are ready to vacate the marquee at this time.
• Any damages incurred will be the responsibility of the marquee holder.
• Bar staff abide by responsible service of alcohol laws. These include not serving minors or patrons showing signs of intoxication.
• Prohibited substances are not permitted on the grounds and use of such will not be tolerated. Your marquee will be closed immediately if found.
• Businesses are responsible for safety and security of all hired and personal property.
• Businesses are responsible for behaviour of all patrons attending their marquee.
• Site fee and beverage deposit are non refundable under any circumstances (including cancellation of race meeting) • Security are permitted to enter the marquee area in the geeral course of their duties
• The marquee deposit and beverage deposit is due on 29th March 2019. Failure to pay by this date will result in the loss of your marquee site. • No extra beverages can be ordered after 4pm on Gold Cup Day • Original beverage order must be paid for, no returns on original order • Your admittance tickets will be sent to you upon receipt of your marquee payment • If you have ordered racebooks as part of your marquee package they will be brought to your marquee by your bar staff on the day.
