The following are the listing of properties delivered in Jebel Sifah and Salalah Beach during April and May 2013

What are the current promotions happening at Sifawy for summer?

We’ve put together a very exciting package for the summer which we’ve just launched last month. The exclusive summer package includes a complimentary sea taxi transfer to & fro Jebel Sifah, a complimentary upgrade to a Marina Suite, a sumptuous breakfast buffet for 2 and a beautiful pool to relax and cool down in – all at OMR 50.000 net, per room, per night. We’re also excited to launch our daily Happy Hour at the Breeze Bar, offering a “buy 1, get 1” on a range of selected beverages, and has already proved to be very popular in the evenings for a pre-dinner drink.

Why is Sifawy the perfect getaway for summer?

Sifawy is the perfect summer escape, being located directly on the marina waterfront, with easy access to the sea, pool and beach – it is ideal for those seeking to soak in the water and escape the summer heat. Our temperature controlled swimming pool ensures that you will “stay cool” throughout the day. For the little ones, we will launch an indoor Kids Club by the beginning of July, allowing the children to play their favorite games or watch their favorite movies in a cool, safe and indoor environment located just nearby the pool deck, so as not to be far from their parents. In

addition to this, a variety of sea-based activities, such as dolphin watching, snorkeling and jetskiing are perfect escapes from the hot summer temperatures.

Are there any day use charges for utilizing the facilities of the hotel?

We have put together a day use package which includes a minimum charge, which entitles guests to consume this amount in the restaurant or pool bar. Priced at OMR 12.000++ per person, it is an ideal escape for the day, including good food, cold drinks, lounge music, sun and a beautiful day by the pool or beach.

Any party scenes planned?

We are working on hosting our first Splash Bash at the end of this summer; more details to be revealed soon!

Any new developments at the hotel?

We will launch the kids club in a matter of weeks, which will be a big relief to all the families. Suitable for ages from 0 to 10 years, it will be located on the pool level with a large indoor and

outdoor space for the kids to let go and have fun.

We are also aiming to launch our multi-purpose function room by July, which will be located just adjacent to the Hotel’s main restaurant. Catering for up to 100 people, it is an ideal venue for a corporate meeting, an intimate dinner or even games and activities. We are developing a dedicated brochure for this new facility and will begin

promoting it after Ramadan, just before the seasons starts again.

Our Culinary team have prepared some truly authentic Ramadan favorites, coupled of course with our resident oud player and shisha will make for a perfect Ramadan night away from the city.

Jebel Sifah is a destination that would see only 25% built up on its huge project area, the remaining area will be nature at its splendor. The efforts to go green are further accomplished by the Sifah Nursery, which is located on site. This Nursery is a fully-serviced Nursery/Garden Center, where all the required plants for the destination is potted and grown in a 4000 sqm premises. Particular attention is being given to flowering plants, ornamental plants, trees and shrubs.

The garden facility is run by expert hands including plant doctors and consultants providing every homeowner the option of getting their landscape done to picture book perfection. Specialties also include decorating your balconies with green.

SalalahThe only tropical destination in the Middle eastSalalah, the capital of  Dhofar, is a colourful, subtropical city that owes much of its character to  Oman’s former territories in East  Africa. Flying into Salalah from Muscat, especially during the khareef, it is hard to imagine that Oman’s first and second cities share the same continent. From mid-June to mid-September, monsoon clouds from India bring a constant drizzle to the area and, as a result, the stubble of Salalah’s surrounding jebel  is transformed into an oasis of misty pastures. Year-round, Salalah’s coconut-fringed beaches and plantations of bananas and papayas offer a flavour of Zanzibar in the heart of the Arabian desert.

• Population: 178,469• Area: 33000 Sq KmClimate: Moderate throughout the year, Monsoon from June to September.
