MUMMY MAKEOVER Over the last few years I have seen increasing demands for the mummy makeover. The typical patient is a young fit mother, who has completed her family she may be back at work already or wanting to get back to work in the near future. She is back to her pre pregnancy weight or close too it and has done everything humanly possible with diet and exercise to get her body back into shape, but there are areas of the body that stubbornly refuse to improve! In this modern age nobody wants to have multiple procedure or staggered operations with 6-12months between procedures. In this instance there are costs, time, family and work implications in this staggered process hence the “birth” of the combined/ one stop operation for maximal effect i.e. the mommy makeover. Now this operation may combine operations to the tummy, breast or leg for maximal effect. Your surgeon has a smorgasbord of surgical techniques to use and will discuss your priority areas and with a combination of operations plan the best and safest options for you. These are all of my former patients who have kindly consented for me to use their images for patient education and teaching purposes, so please treat them appropriately. All images are taken at 4-6months to show early post op results and so that patients get a true representation of what the shape and particularly the scars will look like. As you go through these series of images you will note such variation in pre op anatomy and post op results. This is normal and what makes us all so very individual! Kind regards Mr Garrick Georgeu MB ChB, MSc, FRCS (PLAS)

  • MUMMY MAKEOVER

Over the last few years I have seen increasing demands for the mummy makeover.

    Kind regards

Scars are a bit red but expect to fade nicely.

NOTE: underwear in post op picture pulled down creating fold which is not there when underwear in correct position.
