In seiner Einfachheit unerreicht: Xbrick.Der Multifunktionshocker, leicht und stabil, kommt überall dort zum Einsatz, wo es um dyna-mische Raumnutzung geht. Als Sitzgelegenheit oder Stehhilfe, schnell zum Podest umfunktioniert oder als Tisch verwendet, konfiguriert Xbrick Räu-me immer wieder neu und anders. Intuitiv, nahezu geräuschlos und im Handumdrehen.

Xbrick regt an zur Interaktion und Kommunikation. Seine Nutzerinnen und Nutzer bleiben stets in Be-wegung, ob im Büro, zu Hause, im Handwerk oder an Lernorten von der Kita bis zur Uni, ob drinnen oder draußen.

Xbrick besteht aus sortenreinem expandierten Polypro-pylen (EPP). Wir haben uns bewusst für diesen zu 100% recyclebaren Werkstoff entschieden, da er den Xbrick so besonders macht und funktional wie ökologisch viele Vorteile mit sich bringt:Aus EPP ist der Xbrick extrem leicht, was beim Transport einiges an Energie spart. Gleichzeitig ist er stabil, unverwüstlich und dadurch sehr langlebig.

Ein Xbrick macht einiges mit und wird er an der einen Stelle nicht mehr gebraucht, findet sich garantiert ein neuer Einsatz. Das gut zu reinigende und wasserbestän-dige Material macht ihn noch vielseitiger, drinnen wie draußen. Und es fasst sich gut an, ist nie zu kalt oder zu warm, bei aller Stabilität ist der Xbrick nicht hart und nahezu geräuschlos in der Handhabung.

EPP ist frei von Weichmachern und Schwermetallen, so dass Xbricks auch als Spielzeug oder in Verbindung mit Lebensmitteln verwendet werden können.

Produziert wird der Xbrick in Süddeutschland, Montage und Versand nehmen Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter der Remstal Werkstätten der Diakonie Stetten e. V. vor, einer anerkannten Werkstatt für behinderte Menschen.Wir kennen nicht nur jeden Produktionsschritt, son-dern auch die Menschen, die dahinter stecken, und ihre Arbeitsbedingungen. Als kleines mittelständisches Unternehmen ist es uns wichtig, mit Lieferanten vor Ort zusammenzuarbeiten, langfristige Kooperationen aufzu-bauen und in direktem Austausch mit unseren Partnern zu stehen. Als Partner des C2C Labs engagieren wir uns für transparente Lieferketten und eine konsequente Kreislaufwirtschaft.

Am Ende eines langen Produktlebens nehmen wir ge-brauchte Xbricks zurück und kümmern uns um eine Wei-ternutzung oder um die Rückführung in den Wertstoff-kreislauf (100% recylebar). Nicht nur bei der Anwendung, auch in diesem Sinne können Xbricks x-fach verwendet werden.

Xbrick consists of single-grade expanded polypropylene (EPP). We deliberately chose this 100% recyclable ma-terial because it makes the Xbrick so special and has many advantages in terms of functionality and ecology:Made of EPP, the Xbrick is extremely light, which saves a lot of energy during transport.At the same time, it is stable, indestructible and there-fore very durable.

An Xbrick does a lot and if it is no longer needed at one point, a new application is guaranteed. The easy-to-cle-an and water-resistant material makes it even more versatile, both indoors and outdoors. And it feels good, is never too cold or too warm, despite all the stability, the Xbrick is not hard and almost noiseless to use.

EPP is free from plasticizers and heavy metals, so Xbricks can also be used as toys or in connection with food.

The Xbrick is produced in southern Germany, assem-bly and shipping are carried out by employees of the Remstal workshops of Diakonie Stetten e. V., a recogni-zed workshop for people with disabilities.

We not only know every production step, but also the people behind it and their working conditions. As a small, medium-sized company, it is important to us to work with local suppliers, to establish long-term part-nerships and to be in direct contact with our partners. As a partner of the C2C Lab, we are committed to trans-parent supply chains and a consistent circular economy.

Since the Xbrick consists exclusively of EPP, it is 100% recyclable. At the end of a long product life, we take back used Xbricks and take care of continued use or re-turn to the recycling cycle. Xbricks can be used x-times not only in the application, also in this sense.

Xbrick ist ein flexibler Multifunktionsbaustein, ein-setzbar im Indoor- und Outdoorbereich. Er begleitet Sie in Ihrem Arbeitsalltag im Büro oder im Handwerk, er kann Sport- und Spielkamerad sein, im Kindergar-ten, in der Turnhalle, im Schwimmbad oder zu Hause ist er x-fach nutzbar.

Im Folgenden Daten und Fakten sowie Hinweise zur Verwendung von Xbrick: Was Sie problemlos mit ihm anstellen können und was Sie vermeiden sollten.

Beim Gebrauch beachten

Kippgefahr vermeiden: Achten Sie darauf, den Xbrick gleichmäßig und flächig zu belasten. Durch ungleich-mäßige oder einseitige Belastung kann der Xbrick auf-grund seiner Maße kippen, vor allem in aufrechter Posi-tion sowie in seitlich liegender.

Bleibende Verformungen vermeiden: Die Skelettstruk-tur von Xbrick in Kombination mit dem Material gibt bei flächiger Belastung leicht nach. Diese Vertiefun-gen bilden sich aufgrund der hohen Rückstellkraft in ihre ursprüngliche Form zurück. Vermeiden Sie jedoch punktuelle Belastungen wie etwa beim Auftreten mit Stöckelschuhen / Pfennigabsätzen oder Einschnitte mit Schere, Cutter oder anderen spitzen Gegenständen, da dies zu dauerhaften und bleibenden Materialverletzun-gen führt.

Xbrick is a flexible multifunction module, suitable for indoor and outdoor use. Xbrick accompanies you in your daily work. Beyond the confines of the work en-vironment, Xbrick is fit for purpose, as a handy sports and recreational playmate: down the gym; in the kin-dergarten; at the swimming pool; or at home.

Here are some facts, figures and tips for using Xbrick: What you can do with it and what you should avoid.

Please note when using:

Avoid the risk of tipping: Make sure that the Xbrick is level and evenly loaded. Due to its dimensions, the Xbrick can tilt due to uneven ground or when the load is too off-centre, especially in an upright position, but on its side, too.

Avoid permanent deformation: The skeleton structure of Xbrick in combination with the material gives way slight-ly under surface load. These depressions return to their original shape. However, the user must avoid puncti-form loads; such as, wearing unsuitable, stiletto-type heels; or making cuts, with sharp tools or objects, as this leads to permanent material injuries.

Environmental aspects

Xbrick is made of EPP and is produced by employ-ing energy-saving, environmentally friendly methods, entirely in Germany. Furthermore, EPP consists main-ly of closed-cell foam particles, produced without contributing to the greenhouse effect. No metal-con-taining-compounds (CFC), propellant, or halogenated substances go into the process of manufacturing the moldings. EPP particle foam is composed of carbon and hydrogen elements, constituting one of the organic ma-terials. The content of the foam beads consists of air, free of cadmium, lead, or other heavy metal compounds.
