LSC-Tomball’s department of Multimedia Services provides innovative technical support to faculty members wishing to enhance the dynamic nature of their instruction.

Our mission is to provide support and assistance in all aspects of multimedia, video production and editing, audio production services, as well as media distribution services that include streaming media, video, and interactivity.

Requirements and GuidelinesIn order to make sure

everyone has an opportunity to use our facility and services, we request that faculty, staff, students, and administrators use the request forms available on our website. This allows anyone to schedule time to use our studio or use our on-location video services.

Media Kit Check-OutThe kit includes a mini camcorder, audio recorder,

microphone and some additional equipment. This is an excellent way for faculty and staff to have access to equipment that their department may not have.

Services at a Glance . . .

One Button StudioThe One Button Studio is a video production studio that enhances teaching and

learning at LSC-Tomball, allowing students and faculty to record video content with no technical experience required. All you need is a flash drive and you’re ready to create a video.

Learning GlassThe learning glass is a tool that allows instructors to write lecture notes while maintaining face-to-

face contact with students. Faculty can incorporate interactive lectures that are intuitive and students can view the instructor’s lecture first-hand.

Whisper Room (Sound Booth) This state-of-the-art area is

used to create video overlays, podcasts, screencasts, or voice-over and voice recordings. There are multiple microphones, a mixer and a Wacom Cintiq tablet that can be used for annotations. We also have a computer loaded with up-to-date software to create and edit your media content.

Assistant ServicesOur IMAC Studio is a one-stop studio where faculty, staff, and students have access to media

development tools. This offers many opportunities to create digital media content, whether for course assignments, lectures, promotional videos, or for social media.

Multimedia Services offers video production services for events, lectures, department promotional videos, social media, and live streaming.
