A signature model in our fleet of food service equipment. The Multigen is a multiportion trolley, designed for Cook-Serve, Cook-Chill and Cook-Freeze applications. Durably built, its functionality and versatility provide an immediate advantage for any food service system. We developed the Multigen, which supports both containers and pre-plated foods, so that you can portion and serve food to patients closer than ever before. Our design combines high performance with safe and efficient solutions to the practical day-to-day demands of high-pressure operations, resulting in perfect food quality, temperature and presentation. Experienced in designing human-centred equipment, we understand how operators move and what clients need. Beyond the durable, lightweight design, the Multigen’s ergonomic features ensure smooth-rolling manoeuvrability and responsiveness thanks to the unique location of our wheel design. The control panel is placed at your eye level for quick glance comprehension. The sleek gantry maximizes worktop space and allows for 360-degree visibility. The gantry can come with a heating and lighting system to enhance food presentation and temperature retention.

Dual Temperature Oven
Perfect, Every TimeAs the originators of dual air convection oven technology – the industry standard that others try to duplicate but never replicate – our innovative design delivers perfect food quality temperature and presentation. It features smart controls which allow you to precisely split the temperature within one heating chamber to simultaneously regenerate both delicate and dense foods. The divider allows for easily adjustable section design depending on the dimensions you want. You can even regenerate frozen and chilled food at the same time. We have also added detailed safeguards such as a protective air curtain that restricts the amount of steam released when the oven door is open. Other features include thorough insulation to Other features include thorough insulation to minimize heat loss and reduce energy consumption. The stainless-steel door swings to 180 degrees for easy access and is secured by a slam shut latch while the open-door alarm alerts operators to ensure food temperatures are never compromised. Measures such as these are inherent to the way we design all our equipment at Burlodge.

HACCP Controls and Online Monitoring
Connected and in Control
Any manager would agree that time is forever at a premium, which is why our HACCP controls and online monitoring system are so invaluable. With a WiFi or LAN connection, managers can readily and remotely command their trolley fleet via BCloud, our powerful, cloud-based app. This provides real time data to keep you completely up-to-speed on key trolley functions, including cycles, start/stop actions and alarms. Data can also be manually downloaded to a smart card. With absolute control at your fingertips, the design also notifies managers of any issues concerning temperature non-compliance as well as corrective actions.

Dolly Transfer Module
The Dolly Transfer Module is the key point of connection between kitchen and client, helping to reduce costs, ease movement and smooth every stage of service. A light, robust and inexpensive option for operations, it allows food to be loaded in the kitchen, transferred in a temperature-controlled area and inserted into the Multigen. Automatic functions start the pre-programmed cycles and regenerate until the cycle is complete. That promotes operational flexibility and the capacity to conduct much of the preparation work in advance. With a double complement of modules, picking and packing can be completed in one shift rather than two. Limiting the main trolley’s movement extends its life span and reduces maintenance costs.

Smartly designed and durably built, the stainless steel frame construction of our Multigen line is reliably solid and remarkably light. The heavy-duty base features a wraparound perimeter rubber bumper to manage the daily demands of busy operations while smooth-rolling 4x160mm castors with non-marking tyres maintains manoeuvrability. Four ergonomically designed handles along with a recessed, easy-to-reach protected plug holder support combines user comfort and convenience.
