Established in February 1947
BRIEF HISTORY
Training Centre was established in February 1947.
After bifurcation of N.F. Railway from N.E. Railway, it was named as System
Technical School in August 1958.
It was again renamed as Supervisors’ Training centre in July, 1995 and after merger of all training center as MSTC in April 2018.
To imparts training to supervisory /
Artisan staff of mechanical, engineering, Signal, Electrical and other departments as well as to the running staff.
It also runs few other inter-disciplinary courses such as
Computer, Disaster Management and Advance work-study.
GOALS
Initially appointed staff and
supervisors do not have any idea of
railway working. For this propose
this training centre imparts
knowledge about system of Railway
working and at the same time the
training centre motivate the
trainees for safety, security and
punctuality which is the main
objective of Railways.

One Kitchen room. One bed room and one cabin. One washroom & one toilet One class room with one projector, one computer
and PA System. Technical Course Flexi boards are displayed in
Mobile Training car class room for Knowledge. Class room has Capacity
of 30 trainees at a time.
