DESCRIPTION
SCARAB TX is a remote controlled robot, for intervention and technical assistance. It is versatile with various equipment like a water canon, smoke extraction fan, stretcher, handling arms, electric winch, bull bar, trailer hitch, etc. The tracks are developed to easily adapt to the terrain in which it operates. This allows the robot to move over obstacles quickly while keeping good stability. It is very easy to control and its aerospace alloy design gives it sufficient robustness. Tecdron developed new gearing blocks equipped with 1500W engines and electro-magnetic brakes. The SCARAB TX has a powerful torque, more than 3000 Nm. Two control options
Control station (simple)
The simple remote control is for controlling (left and right handedpersons) the robot and additional equipment but does not allowvideo feedback.
Control unit (advanced)
The tablet PC has a 7-inch screen. It will allow a more sophisticated control with a very specific video feedback and the opportunity to take photos and videos with high definition.More information is displayed on the screen like GPS, tilt, speed, outside temperature, status batteries, radio link quality, energy consumption, etc. The human machine interface can be customized upon request.
