• A centrifugal separator which operates according to the cyclone principle. It can be used to separate a liquid or solid particulate phase
from a gas stream, whereby the gas is routed through various cyclones in parallel
• Due to its high separation effi ciency multi-cyclones are well suited for applications with fi ne dusts or droplets to be separated
• The lower pressure drop at similar separation performance compared to a standard cyclone
allows the handling of high gas volume fl ow rates
• One gas inlet and one gas outlet as well as one common solids discharge per multi-cyclone simplifi es connection to the piping for the cyclone tubes running in
parallel
