Historia

Seis décadas de tradición. Más de 65 años de creación, investigación, innovación y desarrollo han situado a Muebles Picó en la vanguardia empresarial, tecnológica y creativa del mueble de alta gama. Tres generaciones han logrado crear, potenciar y proyectar una empresa dinámica cuya constante progresión depura la experiencia y la convierte en futuro.

Fue José Picó Ramón quien inició la andadura en 1945. Su taller de ebanistería ya se distinguía por la selección de sus maderas, sus cuidadas tallas y su minuciosa marquetería. El valor que imprimía el excelente trabajo del artesano fue ganando adeptos entre su clientela y el éxito de sus creaciones clásicas junto al continuo desarrollo de nuevos proyectos fue marcando el crecimiento de la empresa.

Ya con la calidad como seña de identidad de la firma en toda España, en 1965 José Picó Tamarit se incorpora a la empresa. Bajo su dirección, Muebles Picó se expande y amuebla hogares e instalaciones de todo el mundo y lidera proyectos decorativos clásicos y contemporáneos que potencian la personalidad y estilo de su mueble en los cinco continentes.

Hoy, la firma lidera la vanguardia del mueble con un proceso productivo de alta tecnología, rigurosos controles de calidad y una completa gestión medioambiental bajo una continua inversión en investigación sin perder sus raíces artesanales.

Six decades of tradition. More than 65 years of creation, research, innovation and development have placed Muebles Picó on the business, technological and creative forefronts of high-end furniture. Three generations have managed to create, enhance and project a dynamic company whose constant progression refines through experience and advances toward the future.

It was José Ramón Picó who started the journey in 1945. His cabinet making workshop was distinguished by its selection of wood, well-made carvings and meticulous in-laid decorations. The excellent work and value of the artisan gained momentum among the clientele, and the success of his classical creations along with the continuous development of new projects, marked growth for the company.

With quality as a trademark for the company in all of Spain, José Picó Tamarit joins the company in 1965. Under his leadership Muebles Picó expands and begins furnishing homes and facilities around the world. He led classical and contemporary decorative projects that enhanced both the personality and style of the furniture on five continents.

Today the company is on the cutting edge of furniture production with a high-tech and rigorous quality control system and complete environmental management research under continuous investment. The company advances its production methods without losing its roots in artisan craftsmanship.

This is the fruit of six decades of labor from a continually innovative company that has already paved the way for the third generation to begin new projects that enhance the present as we enter the future.

В 1965 году, когда продукция комапнии уже прочно заняла лидирущие позиции во всей Испании, Хосе Пико Тамарит присоединяется к предприятию. Под его руководством, Muebles Picó выходит на мировой рынок. Nuestros productos han pasado los más rigurosos controles en los laboratorios del Instituto Tecnológico de la Madera (AIDIMA), certificado con la Etiqueta de Calidad Controlada y estando avalados por numerosos trofeos nacionales e internacionales.

Picó dispone de un sistema de Gestión de Calidad conforme con las normas UNE-EN ISO 9001/2008, certificado por la Asociación Española de Normalización y Certificación (AENOR), y por International Certification Network (IQNET).

Las certificaciones avalan la calidad empresarial de Picó en referencia tanto al producto, como a su gestión interna.

PUERTAS DE COCINA Y ELEMENTOS DECORATIVOSLa colección de Picó Kitchens ha sido realizada con una selección de las mejores maderas y materiales disponibles para la fabricación de sus puertas y elementos decorativos en la cocina. Las chapas, marqueterías naturales y barnices artesanales sobre tallas de madera acabadas a mano, son fabricadas por manos expertas cuidando cada detalle dentro de un proceso de fabricación del mayor nivel calidad. Todos los frentes de puerta, campanas y costados decorativos están fabricados para uso doméstico respetando las exigencias y normativas de seguridad certificadas por el Instituto español de la madera, embalaje y afines (AIDIMA).

MÓDULOS INTERIORESTodos los módulos interiores que componen las cocinas de Picó, están fabricados con tablero hidrófugo MDF y decorados con un recubrimiento laminado fabricado a base de resinas termo-endurecibles. El recubrimiento laminado está compuesto por varias capas prensadas que le aportan al tablero una mayor durabilidad frente a arañazos y golpes. El tablero hidrófugo MDF posee una mayor resistencia a la humedad que los tableros comunes y el aglomerado, gracias a su tratamiento químico especial para humedad. Los materiales interiores de las cocinas de Picó responden a las exigencias de las normas de instalación EN 438-2:2005.

CAJONESLa estructura de los cajones está fabricada en aluminio y se fijan al frente de madera. Su sistema de regulación en dos dimensiones permite un fácil montaje sin requerir de herramientas. Poseen guías invisibles de extracción completa con sistema de freno y soportan un peso dinámico de 50Kg. Su sistema auto-lock con freno integrado permite un movimiento suave y sin sonido.

BISAGRASBisagras fabricadas de acero inox que permiten una regulación tridimensional con aperturas de uso de 95,110 y 180º según las características del módulo.Los test realizados por el fabricante garantizan hasta 200.000 ciclos. El numero de bisagras por puerta dependerá de la altura y peso de la puerta.Las bisagras tienen sistema de cierre controlado para evitar golpes, ruidos y daños en los frontis y en los módulos.

CARACTERÍSTICAS ESTRUCTURALESTodos los módulos que componen Picó Kitchens son fabricadas con tablero fenólico (ver imagen). Este tablero tiene mejor estabilidad a la humedad y la resistencia que el MDF y el aglomerado, gracias a la distribución de las chapas.Los interiores tienen el mismo acabado que el exterior, en el caso de chapa va barnizado y en el caso del color, el mismo color que el exterior. Usando pegamento de poliuretano, que es resistente al agua y a la temperatura.

KITCHEN DOOR AND DECORATIVE ELEMENTS Picó Kitchen collection has been made with a selection of the finest woods and exclusive materials available for the fabrication of doors and decorative elements in the kitchen. Veneers, inlays and natural handcrafted coatings on hand-finished wood carvings, are made by expert craftsman with extreme care in every detail and the highest quality within the manufacturing process. All door fronts, decorative hoods and sides are made for home use in respect to the requirements and safety standards certified by the Spanish Institute of wood, packaging and related materials (AIDIMA).

INTERIOR MODULES All interior modules comprising Picó Kitchens are manufactured with waterproof MDF and decorated with a laminate coating manufactured from thermoset resins. The laminate coating consists of several layers pressed into the board to provide durability against scratches and blows. MDF water repellent has a higher moisture resistance than the common board or chipboard thanks to its special chemical treatment for moisture. The interior materials of Picó kitchens meet the requirements of standard installation EN 438-2:2005. DRAWER SLIDESThe drawers are made of aluminum and they are fixed to the drawer fronts. The steel fixation and regulation system allows a two-dimensional easy fixation with no specialized tool. Complete extraction hidden and brake system runners, work on a high resistance roller. HINGESThe hinges are made of stainless steel. They allow a three-dimensional regulation, with opening angles of 95°, 110° and 180° depending on the unit features. The hinges can be set up easily by an end user. The tests made by the manufacturer guarantee up to 200.000 opening and closing movements. The number of hinges per module depends on the height and weight of the door. The hinges have a silent brake system that avoids possible crashes and annoying noises among fronts and units.

MODULE FEATURESEvery unit that composes a Picó kitchen, is made with phenolic plywood board (as shown in the image). This board has a better humidity stability and resistance than MDF and chipboard due to the perpendicular veneer distribution. All the interiors are finished in varnished natural wood veneer or lacquered in the same finish as the outside. We use polyurethane glue, water and temperature resistant.
