Transmission & Maintenance/Quality department head

In a team of dedicated individuals an ATV (All-Terrain Vehicle) has been designed and built

CVT Tuning using hall-effect sensors to obtain event oriented performance, CVT data validation,

vibration analysis of engine mounts using accelerometers, engine dynamometer testing, powertrain

cooling, FEA of critical components, customized halfshafts

Optimized roll cage design, semi-trailing suspension system, leading to weight reduction by 30%

Business aspects like bench marking, build quality, research, manufacturing, sales & marketing,

DVP, NVH, DFMEA are the true elements of this international level project

SCALED DOWN SEMI-AUTONOMOUS VEHICLE May’14-present

A small scale „remote controlled‟ car with 8 HP engine, chain driven direct drive transmission,

cantilever leaf spring suspension, on-board braking system and Ackermann steering designed and

fabricated at an affordable estimated price of INR 15,000/USD 250

Innovative cantilever leaf spring suspension system provides with unique weight transfer

characteristics, good serviceability, versatile stiffness in arms, high performance

Project is intended for applying as a prototype platform and thus can be utilized in the research field

the comparison between the characteristic properties of two materials

Research based assignment on “Vacuum Assisted Resin Transfer Molding” process under the topic

“Manufacturing of Composite Materials”

Design and assembly of a “bell crank steering mechanism” validating steering ratio, ackermann

percentage, turning radius(if incorporated in a Super Mileage Vehicle)
