Programme Description 課程簡介This programme aims to equip students with professional knowledge and skills in transport operations and management and illustrates the business environment of transport industry including air, maritime, railway and road. The programme covers knowledge and skills in safety, customer services, management, marketing and financial perspective to transport operations and management. Students will be able to analyse operation and management practices of various transport systems in an integrated perspective.

Graduates could also pursue their careers as professionals in transport industry.

本課程旨在為學生提供運輸營運及管理的專業知識及技能，闡述運輸行業的營商環境，包括航空、海運、鐵路及道路。本課程亦涵蓋安全、顧客服務、管理、營銷市務及財務等課題。學生能運用綜合觀點分析運輸系統的營運及管理的日常業務。

畢業生亦可從事運輸業相關工作。

Professional Recognition 專業資格認證The programme follows the syllabi of The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport Hong Kong (CILTHK) Professional Qualifying Examination (PQE). Graduates from Advanced Diploma in Transport Operations and Management will receive partial exemption from the educational requirements for Chartered Membership of The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (6 out of 8 Papers will be exempted for CILTHK’s PQE).

本課程符合香港運輸物流學會（CILTHK）專業資格試（PQE）的課程大綱。運輸營運及管理高等文憑之畢業生將可豁免部份香港運輸物流學會專業資格試之學術要求， 成為註冊會員（可豁免六份香港運輸物流學會專業資格試）。

HK$44,100** Tuition fees are paid in 2 equal instalments, once at the beginning of each academic year. Applicants will be required to settle a

non-refundable registration fee of HK$5,000 within 3 working days upon the issuance of offer letter. Registration fee will be deducted from the first payment of the tuition fee.

Applicants shall fulfil the following admission requirements:

1. have attained Grade E/ Level 2 or above in 5 subjects including English Language and Chinese Language in HKCEE, or equivalent; OR2. have attained Level 2 or above in 5 subjects including English Language and Chinese Language in HKDSE or equivalent; OR3. hold a Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) qualification in logistics industry at QF Level 3 or above; OR4. hold a certificate/ diploma at QF Level 3 or above from a recognized institution.

Cash prize award will be given to the top three graduates in recognition for overall outstanding academic achievement upon graduation.

Graduates of the Diploma in Transport Studies*, who are on the Dean’s list and are admitted to the Advanced Diploma programme, will be provided a tuition fee waiver. The waiver will be reimbursed upon completion of the Advanced Diploma study.

Training Facilities 訓練設備MTR Academy campus is conveniently located at MTR Hung Hom station. The campus covers 21,000 square feet and is equipped with the state-of–the–art Integrated Training Facility Room. Students may access the Learning Resources Centre, computer workstations, Wi- Fi service and hot beverage self- service corner.

港鐵學院位於港鐵紅磡站，佔地21,000平方尺並設有先進的綜合訓練設備室。同學可於中心內使用教學資源中心、電腦工作間、高速無線上網服務及熱飲自助站。

Teaching Mode 授課模式

Class Schedule 上課時間Lectures are held on 2 weekday evenings (7pm-10pm) at Hung Hom Centre or other training centres. 課堂於平日晚間（晚上7時 - 10時）在紅磡中心或其他訓練中心舉行，每週上課兩堂。

課程為兼讀制。課堂使用廣東話輔以英語教授。課堂筆記為英文輔以中文。

Part-time mode. The language of instruction will be Cantonese supplemented with English. Training materials are in English supplemented with Chinese.
