M-TDV Multi-port tube diverter valveThe DMN-WESTINGHOUSE M-TDV transports pneu-matically conveyed products in powder or pellet form toor from multiple destinations (diverging or converging).

The M-TDV design is simplicity itself, and guarantees ahigh positional accuracy with a minimum of componentparts.Available in sizes from 40 to 150 mm (11/2" to 6"),with up to 14 ports on the larger models i.e. smaller pipesizes. The normal supply would consist of the diverterunit and a pre-programmed compact controller with anonboard PLC. The controller works with a binary codeinput from the customer’s PLC.

Product informationAll product contact surfaces are manufactured in AISI316 stainless steel. The inflatable seals are in FDAapproved white EPDM.The standard aluminium cover issuitable for most applications. An alternative AISI 316stainless steel cover is available.

The unit can be mounted either horizontally orvertically and is driven by means of a geared motor,combined with an encoder which together with thecontroller guarantees a very accurate alignment of theconveying lines. A uniform smooth bore pipe betweenthe inlet and outlet allows a constant velocity, mini-mises pressure loss, reduces product degradation andensures clean purging. Seals are located outside theproduct flow, inflate on position confirmation and auto-matically deflate during switching. The indexing tubeplate seals off unused ports.

The standard version can be used in systems withpressures up to 3 bar g.
