    MICROPROCESSORTEMPERATURE CONTROLLER

    OPERATION MANUAL

Please check whether range, input and output match your requirement before using.

Thank you for using our microprocessor temperature controller. We have obtained CEcertification (LDV: D/N EN61010-1; EMC EN 55 022 1994/A1: 1995/A2: 1997, EN 61 000-3-2:1995/ -3-3: 1995, EN 61 000-4-2: 1995/ -4-3: 1996/ -4-5: 1995/ -4-6: 1996/ -4-8: 1993/ -4-11: 1996/EN 50 204: 1995) for all our products since January 2002. We have also computerized our QC process and testing to provide high quality standard and high functionality of our products and also reduce cost.

4.1.1 Press SHIFT key ( ) until the first digit begins to blink to inputparameters, then press the UP key( ) or DOWN key( ) to increase ordecrease value. Press the SHIFT Key( ) again to go to the next digit. Whenall the numbers have been input, press SET key to enter the value.

4.1.2 SET key can also be used to change MODEs. If the SET key is pressed, the display shows the next MODE .

4.1.3 Press and hold SET Key for 5 seconds to go to LEVEL 2, PID Level, to changeparameters. Press and hold the SET key for another 5 seconds to go back toLEVEL 1 .

4.1.4 The display goes back to LEVEL 1 if no key is pressed for one minute.4.1.5 Regardless of the LEVEL thats being displayed, press A/M key to go

to LEVEL 1 .4.1.6 If OUTL is set to "0" , it means the controller has no output.

When SET8.3=1 (The program controller will initiate the SV value tobe the current PV value). The controller will be more energy efficient andalso decreases the time needed to achieve the desired SV value. The remaining time left to reach the SV value will be shown in the parameter TIMR since the time of countdown is related to the PV value, not relatedto segment setting.

Please do not operate SET 8.4. Operating SET 8.4 might cause internalerrors in the controller. If SET 8.4 is set to 1, the controller will enter intoSingle Display mode. The display will show both the Parameter Value andthe Set Value alternately as shown in the diagrambelow:

To rectify the problem please press the SHIFT key ( ) and change thesetting value to XXX0.

4.4.3 Functions of LCKWhen LCK=0000, you can enter any LEVEL except for the SET Level tochange parameters. When LCK=1111, you can enter any LEVEL including SET Level to changeparameters. When LCK=0100, you can enter only Level 1 and Level 2 to change parameters. When LCK=0110, you can enter only Level 1 and Level 2 but only Level 1sparameters can be changed.

When LCK=0001, you can enter only Level and only SV can be changed. When LCK=0101, you can not make any changes to the parameters exceptfor LCK.

4.5.1 This program has 2 sets. Each set contains 8 Segments to choose from.4.5.2 Terminologies

Pattern A program consists of some steps.Step A Ramp status + a Soak status.Ramp status The status with changing SV.Soak status The status with fixed SV.

4.5.3 Operating1. KEY function (no changing parameter).

(RUN) To start the program - PRO light starts blinking. (HOLD) To suspend program - PRO light will stop

blinking but stay lighted. + SET(JUMP) To jump to the next segment. + SET (RESET) To reset program - PRO light turns off..

    2. ALARM functionWhen ALD1=07 (See p.14~15).When AL1=2, program ends in Segment 2 and the alarm sounds. When ALT1 is set at 00.10(alarm time 10 sec.), the program stays on for 10 seconds before shutting off.

    3. END functionThis controller does not have END command. If program has less thanm8 stages per set, set the next stage OUT parameter to zero to end programat the next stage. When ALD1=17,the program will end in Segment 8 or16.

    4. LINK functionWhen PTN=1, the porgram only run the first set of 8 Segment. When PTN=2, the program only run the second set of 8 Segments. When PTN=0, the program will run all Segments.(set PTN1 and PTN2 first then set PTN=0)

    5. Other function (refer to Level 4)SET 8.1=1 Program repeat.SET 8.2=0 No power failure disposal.

SET 8.2=1 With power failure disposal(In case of a power failure, the controllers program willresume at the point where it was interrupted)

SET 8.3=0 Program starts from 0.SET 8.3=1 Program starts from PV.
