From TV to travel, Jesinta Campbell talks to INSPIRE about her plans for 2012.

She’s been riding a wave of popularity ever since she first graced our screens as a beauty queen in 2010. Now, Jesinta Campbell has even

bigger plans. Here’s what she told INSPIRE.

Q What’s your fondest memory of being crowned Miss Universe Australia?A Probably the chance to travel overseas and represent Australia in Vegas. It was such an honour and an incredible opportunity. Having the Aussies in the crowd cheering for you and our country was a pretty amazing feeling and something I will never forget!

Q Growing up as a young girl, did you ever think you could achieve so much at such an early age?A I’ve always had big dreams and I work really hard to try and achieve the things I set out to do – but you never actually think about it really happening. I have been given some wonderful opportunities and sometimes I have to pinch myself.

Q What advice would you give to young women aspiring to the life of a model?A The modelling industry is tough and it isn’t for everyone. Be prepared to work hard and take every opportunity to learn and challenge yourself, but most importantly have fun.

Q How would you describe your personal fashion style?A How I dress depends on what

mood I am in, so my style can be quite eclectic. Some days you’ll find me in a floaty dress and others leather pants and crazy accessories. On my days off I keep it pretty simple though – I am a jeans and tee girl at heart.

Q What is your favourite piece in your wardrobe

at the moment?A My YSL baby blue handbag

and my Gel-Kayano ASICS running shoes. They are the two things I use the most!

Q You were a popular contestant on last year’s Celebrity Apprentice. What was the best part of the show? A Definitely raising $166,000 for my chosen charity REACH as well as helping raise as much as we did for all of the charities the other contestants represented.

Q What does 2012 hold for you?A This is my year to learn! I am really loving the TV presenting side of things; I am so new to it all and trying to soak it all up. I get the chance to work with the best of the best and I am constantly asking questions and trying to improve. I want to see more of the world this year, too. I have never been to Europe and there are so many countries I’d love to visit there. I am also enjoying getting back into modelling and I’m training for a half marathon with ASICS in August.P
