    The Slides and Outline tabs show youdifferent ways to view your presentation.

    The Slides tab shows you aminiature version of eachslide in your presentation.

    Use the Slides tab to organize the slides in your presentation.

    You can cut a slidefrom one locationand paste it intoanother location.

    You can also drag a slide from one position and drop it in another.

    The Outline tab displays the content of your presentation in outlineform. You can use both panes to move around in your presentation.

    In the Outline tab, click theslide icon nextto each slideto moveamong slides.

    Slide Sorter View

    shows you smallimages of all the slidesin your presentationin the slides pane.

    You can use Slide Sorter View to add more slides orchange the order of slides in a presentation.

    The Next Slide and Previous Slide buttons also help you move among slides.

    Presentations usually begin with a title slide. Thetitle slide displays the title and subtitle.

    When you create a new title slide, itcontains a preset text box called a

    placeholder for the title and subtitle.

    Each text box contains placeholders to let you know where to add content.

    You can set up a slide

    show to runautomatically, or youcan manually movefrom slide to slide.

    To run a slide show manually, use the Set Up Show dialog box.

    You can choose to show only selected slidesinstead of an entire presentation.

    You can print anynumber of slides froma single slide to theentire presentation.

    Select the slides you want toprint in the Print dialog box.

    Instead of printing

    slides, you can printhandouts, whichhave one or moreslides on each pageand space to take

    notes.

    Handouts allow your audience to follow your presentation, and theyprovide a record of the items discussed.
