One in three American mother’s struggle to provide their babies with the diapers they need. In response, Huggies has developed the Every Little Bottom Initiative as a sustainable program to address diaper need in the U.S. and Canada. The Minnesota Wild has teamed up with Huggies and all 30 NHL clubs to launch a one month Hockey for Huggies campaign. This program was designed to draw attention

to the Every Little Bottom Initiative, collecting diapers and donations for the cause. The Hockey for Huggies program will be launched on January 28, 2011 during the NHL All-Star Weekend. The Wild will hold a diaper drive at the team’s game on Tuesday, Feb. 1 at Xcel Energy Center, with proceeds benefitting The Diaper Drive in Minneapolis. STOMP March 29 – April 3

How many uses can a matchbox have? Or a garbage can? According to STOMP, these household items double as first-class musical instruments. The eight-member troupe uses everything but conventional percussion instruments – wooden poles, brooms, Zippo lighters, hubcaps – to fill the stage with magnificent rhythms.

Are you a STOMP fan having seen the troupe before? Well, you’re in luck because they’ve created two new pieces for this tour. Updates include “Paint Cans” and “Donuts,” plus revisions to the favorite piece “Bins.” “Donuts” implements huge tractor-tire inner tubes worn around the waist on a bungee cord. The San Francisco

Chronicle declared “STOMP has a beat that just won’t quit!” Come and see for yourself! For tickets or more information, click here or call 651.224.4222.

The 7th Wild About Children event continued this year as the MN Wild partnered with Morrissey Hospitality Companies and Pazzaluna Urban Italian Restaurant on December 6th at Pazzaluna in downtown St. Paul. This year’s event raised $115,000 for Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota. With this year’s total contribution, the Wild About Children has raised a total of more than $714,000 to benefit Children’s Hospital. The entire Wild roster served as celebrity waiters and traded in their jerseys for aprons to wait on the nearly 200 guests in attendance. The event raised money through several fundraising vehicles, including a silent and a live auction. For more information about this event or to view an exclusive photo gallery, click here.
