Log into MSDonline.com

Step Action

NOTE MSDonline is currently supported in the latest version of Google Chrome, Internet Explorer (v.10 and above), Safari, and Mozilla Firefox. MSDonline is also supported on most mobile devices (e.g. tablets, smart phones).

1 Go to: https://msdonline.com

2 Click Sign In button in the top navigation header

3 Type in your Username (Your email address)

4 Type in your Password

NOTE Use the Forgot Password feature for initial login or to reset your password

5 Click Sign In button

NOTE Contact your company’s Administrator or MSD Customer Service for log in assistance

NOTE The Customer Type options will be bypassed if your username is only associated with one Customer Type

2 Click Select a Customer dropdown

NOTE Only the first 5 accounts (alphabetically) will appear in the dropdown. Use the “Search for Additional Accounts” field to locate other accounts.

3 In Search for Additional Accounts field, type Account Number or Name

4 Click desired Customer Account from the dropdown

NOTE If account only has one Ship To, it will default automatically

5 Select Ship To

6 Click Submit

View/Change Logged In Account

C Quick Order Navigates to the Quick Order functionality, which allows users to easily add multiple products to the cart (See “Quick Order” in Section 3: Adding Products to Cart)

D My Lists Navigates to the My Lists functionality, which allows users to easily access their favorites lists (See Section 5: My Lists)

2 Type in Quantity to modify product quantities as necessary

3 Click UOM dropdown to modify units of measure as necessary

4 Click Update Cart, if any modifications made in Steps 2 or 3

NOTE The Stock Level indicator will display below each product based on the stock availability at the customer’s default DC:

In Stock: Quantity in cart is currently available at the Default DC

X Items available. X items backordered*: Quantity in cart is not fully available from the

Default DC. One or more items will be backordered

Please Contact Us for Availability*: Product may not currently be available for the following

reasons, including but not limited to: quantity not available in the Default DC, discontinued product no longer available, or product inventory is restricted. Contact the Customer Service team for more specific information.

* Products that have a “Call Us for Availability” or “Backordered” indicator can still be added to your cart. Back orders will be filled manually (as available) by the MSD Customer Service team.

5 Click X to delete item(s), as necessary

NOTE Click Save Cart to save the order without checking out. See Section 6: Saved Orders for more details. Click Clear Cart to remove all products from the Cart. Click Continue Shopping to continue searching for products

1 Select desired UOM (Unit of Measure) from dropdown, if applicable

2 Type desired Quantity

3 Click Add to List

NOTE The Add to My Lists dialogue box will display

4 Select List from dropdown (If creating a new list, leave the default selection “Create New List”)

5 If creating a new list, type List Name in Create New List field; otherwise, leave blank

6 Click Add to My Lists button

NOTE Lists are maintained at an Account level. All edits made to lists (including deleting lists) will be effective for all users on the account.
