Worth 25% of final grade. Quizzes and formative assessments will be given frequently to

ensure that students understand the current material. Tests/Summative Assessments

Worth 40% of final grade. Tests and summative assessments (projects) will be given with

advance notice so that students have sufficient time to study and prepare.

Absences It is the student’s responsibility to obtain and complete all missed

work including warm ups, notes, and homework. If a test or quiz is missed it is the student’s responsibility to set up a time to come in before or after school to complete it.

Late Assignments/No Name Students will be given 2 day-late homework passes. When this pass

is attached to homework, students will be able to turn in homework one day late with no penalty and no questions asked.

If there are extenuating circumstances where a student cannot complete homework, please come speak to me so that an appropriate plan can be put in place.

No names will be counted as zero’s until they are claimed. They will only be kept for 1 week after the grade is inputted into the system. It is the student’s responsibility to keep track of his or her assignments and grades.

Cheating/Academic Honesty Cheating will result in a zero and parental contact for all students

involved. This includes any talking during a test or quiz and sharing homework answers.

Remind Remind is a way that I can send reminders about important

upcoming due dates, assignments, grades, etc. Students are required to sign up for Remind through a cell phone or email. Parents are also encouraged to sign up.
