PREPARING FOR
TOMMORROWTo prepare today’s children for tomorrow’s world by adopting 21st century skills, providing tools and resources (critical thinking and problem solving, communication, collaboration, and creativity and innovation) so that our students can meet the challenges of the modern age
•Change my questioning strategies to foster critical thinking.
•Encourage students to do group assignments to improve their interpersonal skills so that they learn to be critical friends.
•To encourage collaboration among students.
•Emphasize on technology usage for research based assignments.

Instructional Strategies and Tasks
Students need to be aware in advance of how they will be evaluated. I will familiarize students with my expectations, I will do an in-class practice activity similar to the assessment, so that they know how they will be evaluated. Students can work in pairs or groups during practice.
I will provide opportunities to students to apply their strength when learning. It means all students will not be doing the same activity in the same way all of the time.
Instructional Strategies & Tasks
I will show work on multimedia and then give them task to perform by themselves.
I will help students brainstorm to think from different angles and come up with their unique answers.

PROBLEMS SOLUTIONS
• Some students may not want to work in groups..
• I would counsel them and tell them the benefits of groupwork and make them agree to work together.
•Some students may not come up with the desired behaviour, often when class is about to embark on an ‘activity’ it occurs that all the whispers and puzzled faces mean that they haven't a clue what to do.
•I’ll check if students are ready for the task according to their previous knowledge.•I will make clear, short and slow instructions I will make them work in groups, monitor and help slow learners.
PROBLEMS SOLUTIONS
•Lack of pupil interest inSubject.
• Activity Based learning.
•The teacher can’t judge how many already know answer to a question and how many are just copying.
•I will try to engage every part of their brains, so that more they will learn and retain, giving the students who always shout out the correct answers something to show them they have done well and are now out of the game.I will divide the teams from each other by putting them at opposite sides of the classroom.
APPLICATION OF BLOOM’S TAXONOMY
•Creating,Evaluating,•Analysing,Applying,•Understanding,Remembering.
Graphs and Linear
EquationsTo enable the
students to draw graph of linear
equation.By the end of the
lesson students will be able to solve
simultaneous linear equations
graphically.
oboOBO
Remembering: How to select a scale before drawing graph depending upon the co-ordinate points (x,y).
Understanding: Interpreting how to mark co-ordinate points (x,y) on graphpage.
Applying: Using the equation of straight line how to draw graph of straight line.
Analyzing: Construct a table for the given equation of straight line to show (x,y) co-ordinates of points.
Evaluating: Checking if the point u have supposed lies on a line or not.
Creating:Drawing of straight line by joining all the (x,y) co-ordinates in a straight line.
GRAPHING THE SIMULTANEOUS LINEAR EQUATIONS
• Below is the link provided and uploaded on CLMS website for students in the month of march 2011.
• It includes the following information:• Introduction• X-intercepts• Y-intercepts• Sketching of graph using intercepts• Vertical lines• Horizontal lines• Solved Examples• Practiceproblems http://www.wtamu.edu/academic/anns/mps/math/

Conclusion
Today’s students have spent their entire lives surrounded by information in a variety of mediums. To be successful in the 21st century, students must be able to work without supervision, in diverse groups, and be productive members of society. By Implementing newly acquired 21ST century teaching approaches, students will be empowered and can meet the challenges of the 21st Century.
