1. PURPOSE:
The purpose of this method statement is to define the procedure for dismantling,shifting and re-installation of fence.
2. SCOPE:
The scope of this method statement is to cover the activities relating to dismantling,shifting and re-installation of fence.
3. REFERENCES:
The following documents are considered as reference documents:
Layout Drawings
Project Specifications
Quality Inspection Plan (QIP)
4. RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Site Manager will plan and resource the construction activities of fenceinstallation, to reflect conditions impressed upon the Permit to Work system.
The Construction Manager will actually execute the construction activities, directingthe work force as necessary.
5. PROCEDURE METHOD OF WORKS INSTRUCTIONS
This method statement describes the general procedure of dismantling ofAdministration block located at ASAB site.
The overall block is approx 80 Mtr by 20 Mtr, having sewerage, water andelectrical net works. and other independent facilities .
Manpower deployment chart and site organization show the total manpowerwith crafts, to be deployed for this particular activity.
A dedicated supervisor shall be deployed to take care of the entire activity,related to its safe and proper dismantling, shifting and reinstallation at newlocation.
All sections were properly marked prior to start of any dismantling activity. All
cables connections were duly marked to ensure that all cables are re-connected with the same cables / termination points.

All electrical connections will be terminated from JB, prior to start of anyactivity.
Required sewerage and water network will be provided at new location prior toshifting of any sections, as this would be difficult if the caravans are placed atthe location.
All lightning fixtures will be taken out to avoid any possible damage during the
transportation.
Temporary bracing would be provided in each section for its safe and orderlytransportation and installation.
TMEGC will provide one set of foundations (for one section), to be installed atnew location .this will facilitate in installation of the particular block directly fromtrailer to the foundation, to avoid double handling.
Once the first set / section is placed on the new location, the existingfoundation of the set at old location , will be removed and placed at the newlocation to take the second set / section of the administration block, and this
will go-on till all sections are removed and placed on the new location /foundations.Two teams would be deployed at both the locations to work in parallel to avoidany unnecessary delay in accomplishing of the task.
Dedicated cranes at both locations would be placed to have smooth anduninterrupted operation.
Overall safety engineer / supervisor shall be placed at site to ensure that allworks are being done safely, with agreed execution plan.
TMEGC will provide food / accommodation for its workforce in Gulf Classics
camp located at the junction of ASAB turn.
6.0 TOOLS & EQUIPMENT:
The following tools and equipment shall be required to perform the works:

Hiab
Power Tools
JCB / Bob cat

7.0 SAFETY:
Safety barriers will be erected as the work proceeds.
Gas detector will be available at place of work.
Area barricading and warning signs.
All workers involved will wear required PPE
All workers will be made aware of safety requirements related to thisactivity through toolbox talk.
All required work permits will be acquired and kept available at site
Following PPEs shall be used
Safety helmets
Safety shoes
Gloves Safety glasses
Gas Mask
Cover All
