DETAILS OF TREATMENT SCHEME AND DISPOSAL METHODS
Effluent from the process with high COD and washing will be collected in collection
tank, and then this effluent will be taken for Hydrocavitation process. This treated
effluent will be recycled back.
The process wastewater with low COD, Boiler blow down and cooling tower blow down
will be collected in collection cum equalization tank. , Equalized wastewater will be
neutralized in neutralization tank by adding chemical, and brings pH within permissible
limit.
Flocc agents will be added to water and stirred in primary settling tank and flocc will be
allowed settling in primary settling tank for 1.5 hrs. Suspended solid settle will be
removed on sludge drying bed, clarified wastewater pumped in aeration tank. In aeration
tank primary treated water will be kept for 48 hrs and aerated with activated sludge.
After 48 hrs biologically treated water allow to settle in secondary clarifier for 1 hrs.
Settled biomass recycles to aeration tank. Biologically treated water pass through ACF
and PSF for filtration. This treated effluent will be discharged into CETP of M/s. Enviro
Infrastructure Co. Ltd., Umraya, Vadodara for final treatment. Sludge from sludge
drying bed packed in HDPE bag and stored in separate area and finally dispose to TSDF.
Leachate from the sludge drying bed returns to equalization tank.
