Hello Future Third Graders!

● You will hear about my family a lot including my husband, daughter, and son.

● I have a Goldendoodle named Zoe.● My favorite food is chips and salsa.● I love to cook and bake.● I started school in Downingtown when I was 12.● I went to Penn State. ● My kids and I all take karate classes.● We live near Marsh Creek so I spend a lot of time

there. Look for me there this summer if you go.

1I am just now finishing up my 20th year of teaching, and 19th at East Ward! I’m not sure how it’s been 20 years because I don’t feel that old. I started out my teaching career in 2nd grade, but have now been in 3rd grade for 13 years now. I always try to make learning fun, and I can’t wait for you to enter my classroom and see what I have planned for you. We will have a great year together.

I have been teaching for 13 years and this will be my 4th year teaching third grade at East Ward. Teaching is my passion and I hope to pass on my

love of learning to you! We have a lot of fun in third grade with high expectations and exploring our independence… so get ready!

2. Do third graders get to go on field trips? Yes, in past years we have gone on 2-3 field trips.

3. Do third graders get to eat a snack? Yes, in the morning; you have the option to bring in a healthy snack because we have such a late lunch.
