PrepositionA PREPOSITION is a word that shows the relationship of one word in a sentence to

another word. Usually shows location in the physical world.

The four things that prepositions tell are:

1) Where something is (location): in, on, under

2) Where something is going (direction): to, around

3) When something happens (time): until, during

4) The relationship between a noun or pronoun and another word in a sentence: with, by

Consists of a preposition, its object and any modifiers of the object.The object of the preposition is the noun or pronoun that follows the preposition.
