Changing going home procedures – We are very careful with gettingchildren on the correct bus, to cars, or to afterschool care. We will always send your child home by regular means unless we have a written note telling us to change the procedure. Do not rely on your child to tell us they are going home differently. We must have a written note in order to change their way of going home. Communication – A weekly syllabus will be sent home on Mondays to inform you of daily procedures for homework purposes. Notes and newsletters will be sent home also when needed. It is very important that you read these letters to keep you informed of events in the school and in the classroom. I will communicate with you personally by notes placed in your child's folder, phone calls, or email. Please feel free to do the same. It is important that we communicate often.Conferences – We will have a conference instead of a report card after the first nine weeks of school. A paper to sign up for the conferences will go in your child’s folder. I will have intermittent conferences throughout the year. Contact information – Snow Creek Elementary – 828-256-2335
