We are gearing up for our next reading log reward lunch, so please remember to read, read, read and return those reading logs!

Our Literacy Learning Goals:Comprehension - I can make smart predictions be-fore, during and after reading. I can compare realism and fantasy in a story. Phonics - I can read and write CVC words with short vowel sounds (sat, big, pet) and VCe words with long vowel sounds (bite, size, ate). Vocabulary - I can explain what these words mean and use them when I talk and write: rhythm, rhyme, describe, imagine.

Writing Conventions - I can start sentences with a capital letter and put a period at the end. Writing Content - I can stay focused in my writing.
