MGR Fluid Power is pleased to introduce their own brand hydraulic safety blocks for accumulators.
Accumulator safety blocks provide a shut off function (via the ball valve) in case of accumulator malfunction or maintenance, a vent down valve (manual or automatic) for system depressurisation before maintenance and a fast acting relief valve to relieve and prevent excess hydraulic pressure. Pressure can rise due to increasing accumulator gas pressure caused by fire or local heating. The relief valve protects the accumulator and pipework from over pressure. The safety block can be specified as the accumulator safety system for PED (Pressure Equipment Directive).
