PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE It is with great excitement that I welcome you and your loved ones to this very special celebratory Show for 2019. This biennial Show is our 83rd Show and this year we celebrate the extraordinary milestone of the centenary of the Bruce Rock and Districts Agricultural Society Inc. To the many hundreds of committed community members who over the past 100 years have brought the Bruce Rock Agricultural Show to you in its many shapes and forms, we thank you. Without their dedication and commitment to our community, we would not have reached this milestone.

Along with the determination of our forebears, we are sincerely thankful and humbled by the continued support of Bruce Rock Engineering as our naming rights sponsor. The Verhoogt family’s commitment to Bruce Rock and the community is overwhelming and we extend our gratitude for their supplier and the other sponsors who support us in being able to host a Show that will bring the community together.

The committee has again worked tirelessly to bring you a Show that will entertain, amaze and delight you. The ongoing support of our trophy donors, stewards, judges and exhibitors ensures that Show Day continues the tradition of a country show which is an integral part of the fabric of our community.

Finally, I extend the warmest welcome to you and your loved ones and just can’t wait to see you at the 2019 Bruce Rock Engineering Centenary Show.

George’s Marvellous Medicine

So give me a bug and a jumping flea,

Give me two snails and lizards three,

And a slimy squiggler from the sea,

And the poisonous sting of a bumblebee,

And the juice from the fruit of the ju-jube tree,

And the powdered bone of a wombat’s knee,

And one hundred other things as well

Each with a rather nasty smell.

I’ll stir them up, I’ll boil them long,

A mixture tough, a mixture strong.

MACBETH

MACBETH

Whence is that knocking?

How is't with me, when every noise appals me?

What hands are here? ha! they pluck out mine eyes.

Will all great Neptune's ocean wash this blood

Clean from my hand? No, this my hand will rather

The multitudinous seas in incarnadine,

Making the green one red.

Re-enter LADY MACBETH

LADY MACBETH

My hands are of your colour; but I shame

To wear a heart so white.

Knocking within

I hear a knocking

At the south entry: retire we to our chamber;

A little water clears us of this deed:

How easy is it, then! Your constancy

Hath left you unattended.

Journaling who, what where etc. of the Section the exhibit is entered into. 3. Quality use of graphics and non-photo items used for balance, but photos should be the
