An experienced supplier with focus on quality The story of AB Stiglöv & Co started in the early 80s when the company was founded by Kjell Stiglöv in a disused shoe shop in Hamra outside

the community Bredaryd, Småland. The first time the company manufactured tricycles for preschool. Kjell had a background in the

plumbing industry and the production was soon changed to produce cantilever arms. Since then the range has extended on request of our

customers.

In September 2008, Kjell transferred the company to his children, Roger Stiglöv and Camilla Salomonsson. The ambition is to further develop

the company, acquire more modern equipment and expand the automation of operations. The production is certified according to the standard

for the manufacture of steel structures, EN 1090. Our products are therefore CE marked. Our strength is the sense of quality and service, as

well as to satisfy the customer with timely delivery regarding special products such as, for example, the U-channels and suspensions rings

inustomized lengths and dimensions.

SAFETY CLASSES– ACCORDING EUROKOD

In the calculation we made on our products, we have applied the security level 3, unless otherwise indicated.

Use of EN1090- Basics of structural design

§2 In Eurocode divide the structural elements in three safety classes.

Given the extent of the injury that may possibly arise for breach of a structural,

the structural element shall be assigned to one of the following safety classes.

§3 Safety class 1

Elements of structure may be assigned to safety class 1 if at least one of the following requirements are met

1. persons present only in exceptional cases, in under or next to construction work

2. The structure is of such nature that a failure can not reasonably be expected to cause serious injury.

3. structure has properties such that a failure does not cause collapse but only loss.

§4 Safety class 3

Elements of structure shall be assigned Safety Class 3 if the following conditions are simultaneously present.

1. The structural element is designed and used that many people often staying in, on, under or beside it

2. The structure is of such nature that collapse involves a high risk of serious injury

3. The element of structure has properties such that failure causes immediate collapse.

§5 Safety class 2

Structural elements which are not covered by § 3 and § 4 will be assigned to Safety 2

Calculation of Safety Class 1 and 2

Calculation of the load in safety class 2: Loads in safety class 3 increases by 10%

Calculation of the load in safety class 1: Loads in safety class 3 increases by 20%

SAFETY FACTOR– ACCORDING SS– EN 12236

For the strength of the suspension system applies to EN 12236th This standard is a European standard which applies to the Swedish stand-

ard. It is written that a suspension device should have a safety factor of at least 3.

The vertical components should be designed with a safety factor of at least 1.5 related to the yield stress of the suspension material in relation

to the load of the channels must be maintained.

FIRE RATES SUSPENSION

We manufacture our suspension rings/ cradles, suspension band and channels after the guidelines of the Swedish Boverket. More about fire-

rated suspension can be read in the Practical solutions- Fire ventilation 2014 published by the Swedish ventilation. The book can be ordered

on their website.

Manufacturing control- EN 1090

From 1 July 2013 are products covered by a harmonized standard to have a declaration of perfor-mance and CE marking to be sold within the EU, under the EU Construction Products Regulation. The definition of a construction product is any product or kit which is produced and placed on the market for permanent incorporation in construction works or parts there of and the performance

impact construction performance in terms of the basic requirements for construction works.

Our production is since May 2014 certified according to EN 1090 EXC 1. We decided to certify our

production to be at the forefront in the construction industry. Our manufacturing inspection was

governed up more than when we only had to ISO 9001. We see EN 1090 as an extension of ISO

9001. EN 1090 places higher demands on materials handling and welding competence. There is

also greater requirements to report more on the final product performance. Our welders are vali-

dated and our welding operators are certified. Do not doubt our good quality.

ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

Originally AB Stiglöv & Co was idyllically located near a Nature Re-serve in Hamra outside Bredaryd. It is therefore natural that we care about the environment . In daily operations, we are constantly looking to improve and prevent harmful impact on the

environment.

PROFILE DISTANCE HDG

To increase the viability the profile is often fastened with expander. If such installation is done without interior

support of the profile it is likely that the expander will not be tight enough. This product is packed in a plastic

bag.

PENDULUM NUT PAKOLIT

Loose nuts have been used for the installation of threaded rod in ceiling attachment for more than 80 years, even

though the installation work with loose nuts are time consuming. Pakolit pendulum nut consists of two nuts civil cente-

red in a holder, a unit with no loose parts. Any number pakoliter hooked on a ceiling attachment or bracket, threaded

rod is then locked with a nut rotatably mounted. Time efficient, simple and user friendly. Especially during the cold

season when work gloves there are no objections. Pakolit pendulum nut fitted easily with one hand if necessary.

Only one key required for locking.

Our klamsvep is CE-marked according to a 1090. Our part numbers as well as our CPR No.(identity no) is se-

lected on each ring.Rings and cradles are made in the dimensions of the national Swedish guidelines prescribe,

and recognised in the ”Praktiska lösningar Brandskydd ventilation”, published by Swedish ventilation. We refer to

that book relating the distances between each attachment.

STAND SYSTEM

STAND SYSTEM With stand pipe as a base, you can use all the other parts to build a stand. The system is easy to put together

and fixed using self-tapping screw. Add plastic endcaps. We also have rubber tiles that absorbs vibrations for

under the stand foot.

Stand details is available in 3 different Execution; zinc-plated(EZP), hot dip galvanized (HDG) or in stainless

steel (A4).

To help manage stand details there is the possibility to buy them packed in cardboard (only EZP).

We pack the details in the ”small stand” in packs of 25 pc (corner cross 10 pc). The”large

stand” we pack in box of 10 PCs. There is a charge for packing time and cardboard, which means that the

price/PC gets a little higher than when buying system loosely packed in pallet. Provide the correct item num-

ber when ordering to select how you want the details packaged.

DIRECTORY/ PRICE LIST

Price list shows prices in Swedish Crowns(SEK), Excl VAT and packaging. Changes in prices is

announced 2 months before the new prices take effect. We constantly provides information on rates and

products in our newsletter that is published via email.

ORDER AND LEAD TIME

Orders with many positions and items of takes time to pack. Therefore, we ask for to get such orders in

advance of the delivery date. Smaller orders, we can send the same day as we get it, but ”dead line” is

before 11 am for it to go the same day. This in order for us to be able to book the transportaion in time.

Heavier freight and long goods be booked the day before the dispatch because of carriers' reservation

rules.

SHIPPING

We apply ex-works, i.e. the receiving freight. We do this without exception. The customer is responsible for goods that are loaded on the car, and is to pay

for all shipping cost. We book the freight of the customer-selected agent. That is why we always need the customer's sk GAN number (customer number)

registered in our system. We can also send the goods to the customer's own customer in Sweden if it is whiched for

PAYMENT

We send the invoice on the same day the goods are booked from our warehouse. The term of payment is 30 days from the invoice date.

After that we apply penalty interest.
