Mountain Plane Crash Adventure

Health

• Each person on the mountain will have 6 health points.– You will lose points if you get hurt.– You gain health points by finding food.

• On a small piece of paper, write your name.– Give yourself 6 points of health ✔✔✔✔✔✔

Here You Are

The First Night• As it starts to get dark you can tell that a storm is coming.• You have not yet had a chance to build a shelter, but some

of the plane may be usable.

• What will you do?

– Sleep in the plane, moving things first to block the opening

– Sleep in the plane as it is

– Sleep outside

Oh No!• The first night in the mountains was very bad. The temperature

got very low and there was a lot of snow.• If you slept in the plane after moving things :

– The winds were very cold, but you managed to stay warm. Unfortunately just moving all of the things made you tired, everyone loses one health point.

• If you slept in the plane as is:– The wind and low temperature were very bad. Many

of you suffered some frostbite. Roll for damage (1-3).• If you slept outside:

– It is amazing you didn’t die! All of you suffered frostbite. Roll for damage (1-6)

Getting Off the Mountain

• You have to get off the mountain or you will die.• You will have to go down, but how will you do it?• You have three choices:

– Climb down the mountain right away– Climb down the mountain, but first look

quickly for things.– Climb down the mountain after looking for

anything that might help at all.

• If you climbed down the mountain right away:– Wrong choice. The weather is freezing. You suffer

serious frostbite all day. Roll for damage (1-6).

• If you climbed down the mountain after looking for anything that might help at all:

– You find many warm clothes, good rope, and some more food. Still, the weather was so cold you suffered (1-2 damage)

Getting Off the Mountain

• If you climbed down the mountain after looking quickly for things:– You find a few things that will help you, including

warmer clothes, some damaged rope, and some more food. The clothes help, but you still suffer from the wind. Roll (1-3).

Getting Off the Mountain

• You have three choices:

– Climb over the crevice and hope for the best

– Go around the crevice, hoping to find another way

– Climb over using something that you found on the plane.

• You’ve come to a large crevice in the mountain.• You will have to go over it or around it.

Getting Off the Mountain

• If you climbed over the crevice and hoped for the best:– Wrong choice. The snow and ice is not strong enough to

support you. One person falls to their death and the others suffer (3-6).

• If you went around the crevice, hoping to find another way:– It takes you a whole day to find a spot to cross and come back

where you were. The cold takes its toll. Roll (1-6, -1/2 with clothes)

• If you climbed over using something that you found on the plane.– If you have the good rope everyone gets across safely.– If you use the damaged rope it breaks after half the people are

across. Thankfully the damage is not bad (1-6).

Out of the cold, into the forest• After more than a day

you get off the mountain and into a high mountain forest.

• You will have to go down, but how will you do it?

• You have three choices:

– Just keep going– Stop and try to

find food.– Stop, rest for one

day, and try to find some food.

Out of the forest, to the river

• You reach a huge river once you are out of the forest.

• You have to go across, but how will you do it?• You have three choices:

– You can try to swim across– You can try to find a way around the river– You try to use your rope to get across

Out of the forest, to the river

• If you tried to swim across:

– How many can swim? (50%)– The people who can swim do alright, but still get a

little hurt (1-2). If you can’t swim you may die. (3-6)

• If you tried to find a way around the river:

– You have to walk two days before a shallow spot to cross appears.

• If you tried to use the rope to get across:

– If you have the good rope, you all make it. If you have the bad rope everyone suffers (1-3)

Found!

• After crossing the river you come to a small cottage

• You have two choices:– You can knock on the

door and hope the person helps you.

– You can keep walking and hope to find something else.

Found!

• If you knock on the door:

– A crazy man lives in the cottage and he likes his guns.

• He comes out shooting. How many get shot? (50%)

• How much damage do you take? (1-6)• Thankfully the man has done this before so his

neighbors hear the gunshots. • Police soon arrive and take anyone still alive to the

hospital. • Everyone else goes to the morgue (太平间 ).

The end.

Found!• If you kept walking hoping to find something

else:– You walk for two more days before

you come to a large road with lots of cars.

– Will you try and stop a car or a truck?

• A truck comes by very quickly, but it hits one of you first and you get hurt (1-6)

• It takes several hours before a car comes and you have to eat 1 food or suffer damage.

• Once on the road you are taken quickly into the next town and then to the hospital.
