Program DescriptionThis program is specifically designed for physicians, trainees, and allied health professionals with a strong interest or clinical practice in the fields of gastroenterology and hepatology. This course will serve as an update on the latest diagnostic and therapeutic issues in gastroenterology and hepatology.

The program has been developed using a case-based question and answer format, designed to replicate clinical scenarios, and thus serve as a intensive review tool for those attendees who will be taking the Gastroenterology/Hepatology Board Certification examination.

Educational Objectivesn Describe evidence-based management of patients with gastrointestinal and liver diseases.

n Provide an intensive review of the most recently published literature and professional society guidelines pertaining to patients with gastrointestinal and liver diseases.

n Improve the knowledge base and techniques required to prepare for the certification/recertification exams in gastroenterology and hepatology.
