    In a latest gesture of support,Singapore based Malaysia DairyIndustries PTE Limited (MDI) hashanded over 405 cartons of Mari-gold fruit drinks to the NationalDisaster Management Of fice(NDMO) through its local distrib-utors Motibhai Group.

    MDI head of exports FreddyTan said the company is happy toassist its Fijian friends in whateversmall way they can during suchtrying times when people affectedare fighting hard to get their lives

     back to normal.“I have been told that Fiji is in

    COCONUT CURRIED MACKEREL - RECIPE 

    INGREDIENTS1 can Brunswick Mackerel in Natural Oil½ lime2 tbsp vegetable oil1 onion, chopped2 cloves garlic, peeled and chopped1 tbsp curry powder ¼ cup water½ cup coconut milk 2 tbsp chopped coriander SaltHOW TO PREPAREDrain Brunswick Mackerel, remove bones, and squeeze on lime

     juice. Set aside. Heat oil in pan. Add onion, garlic and hot pepper

    and cook until fragrant. Meanwhile, combine curry powder withwater. Add to pan and cook until most of the water has evaporated.Add Brunswick mackerel and break into one-inch pieces whilestirring. Make sure all mackerel pieces are covered in curry. Addcoconut milk and stir. Cover and simmer for about five minutesmore, adding a little water to prevent sticking. Garnish with co-riander and serve with rice. Serves two to four. Total preparationtime: 15-30 minutes.

    Wastika Chandra and Sanjay Kumar caught in a jovial mood following their graduation at USP in Suva.

    They say good things come to those who wait.This is definitely true for two of Motibhai Groups’

    management staff who recently graduated witha Master in Business Administration degreefrom the University of the South Pacific.

    For the past two years, the duo have sacrificedtheir time and had sleepless nights to achievesomething great in life.

    “We enrolled into MBA program with Universityof the South Pacific (USP) in year 2014 andstarted with Post Graduate Certificate in Busi-ness Administration (Human Resource Man-agement) and on completion of said programthen enrolled for Post Graduate Diploma inBusiness Administration for General Manag-ers,” Sanjay Kumar told INBOX.

    He said this opened the doors for enrolling inthe Master’s Degree program which was not awalk in the park for the two.

    “Studying till late in the night and then earlywake up in the morning for revisions and fur-ther studies was another challenge but then werealize nothing comes easy and its only hard

    work that pays you,” Ms Wastika Chandrasaid.The duo also acknowledged the support from the
