Mother's Day is a holiday celebrated in many countries around the world, but not all nations celebrate on the same day. In the United States, Mother's Day is always celebrated on the second Sunday in May. Many other countries such as Denmark, Finland, Italy, Turkey, Australia and Belgium also celebrate Mother's Day on the same day as the United States. England, however, celebrates Mother's Day on the fourth Sunday of Lent, and in Argentina it is the second Sunday in October. International Mother's Day is actually celebrated on May 11.

"Happy Mother's Day" Means More
"Happy Mother's Day" means moreThan have a happy day.Within those words lie lots of thingsWe never get to say.
It means I love you first of all,Then thanks for all you do.It means you mean a lot to me,And that I honor you.
But most of all, I guess it meansThat I am thinking ofYour happiness on this, your day,With pleasure and with love.

Of all the rightsof women, thegreatest is to bea mother.
To a child’sear, “mother”is magic in anylanguage.
Mother is the
one we count on
for the things
that matter
most of all.
A motherunderstandswhat a child doesnot say.
A mother is she
who can take the
place of all others
but whose place
no one else
can take.
A mother loves her children even when they least deserve to be loved.
A mother who is really a mother isnever free.
A mother’s loveis instinctual,unconditional, and forever.
A mother is not a
person to lean on
but a person to
make leaning
unnecessary.
M-O-T-H-E-R (Theodore Morse and Horward
Johnson) When I was but a baby,
Long before I learned to walk, While lying in my cradle,
I would try my best to talk. It wasn't long before I spoke, And all the neighbors heard.
My folks were very proud of me For "mother" was the word.
Although I'll never lay a claim to fame, I'm satisfied to sing her lovely name:
"M" is for the million things she gave me. "0" means only that she's growing old."T" is for the tears she shed to save me. "H" is for her heart of purest gold. "E" is for her eyes, with love lights shining. "R" means right, and right she'll always be.
Put them all together; they spell "mother,"A word that means the world to me.
"M" is for the mercy she possesses. "0" means that I owe her all I own. "T" is for her tender sweet caresses. "H" is for her hands that made a home. "E" means everything she's done to help me."R" means real and regular, you see.
Put them all together; they spell "mother," A word that means the world to me.
Life began withwaking up andloving my mother’sface.
When it
comes to
love, Mom’s
the word.
God could not be
everywhere and
therefore He
created mothers.
My Mother
My Mother, my friend so dear
