    Elan is a mainstreamed program or special needs teens with developmental disawho may also be limited with their social and emotional growth.     About Mosholu CampsMosholu is a traditional day camp that has provided children with a sae andun summer or many years. Each camper has an opportunity to grow, discover,build confidence, and develop physically as well as socially. Daily activities aresupervised by nurturing counselors and adult proessionals. Many members o ourstaff have grown up in the camp and are thrilled to pass down the camp traditionsby offering encouragement and motivation throughout the summer. Te campersmake riends, enjoy new experiences and become a part o our un loving campamily. With a beautiul camp grounds on Lake Cohasset in Harriman State Park,and a un-tastic een Camp on wheels, Mosholu offers parents the ultimate valuein making memories that will last a lietime.

    1.How to Register Just fill in the registration ormand mail or bring it to MMCC, 3450 Dekalb Ave. Bronx,NY 10467. A $600 deposit is required upon registration.Registration may also occur online at www.mmcc.orghowever, a service charge will be assessed or each onlinetransaction.

    2.New Campers Campers enrolling in Sunshine andElan camps must call the center at 718-882-4000 ext. 207and arrange an interview.

    3.Beore May 1 all camp ees are reundable except or a$25 service ee. From May 2 and on there will be noreunds.

    4.Tere is a $150 discount or each additional child in aamily attending the camp.

    5.Change o Sessions While we will attempt to makechanges in sessions, there is a $25 ee or this serviceafer camp begins in addition to the ull sessions price.Tis includes changing rom one session to ull as wellas reducing rom ull to one session. We will attempt tohonor your request based upon availability.

    6.Registration A camp registration is a reservation orthe agreed period. Tere is no pro-rating or reunds ormissed days or any reason. Keep in mind there are noreunds or summer school.

    7.MMCC reserves the right to remove a child or teenrom camp. In this case a pro-rated reund will be madewith a deduction or administrative expenses. In case achild is suspended rom a particular activity, or trip, therewill be no reund.

    8.Emergency Procedures Attempts will be made to callthe parent first, then, we will call authorities.

    9. ransportation is included in the ee or all units.Tere are central pick-up points. We do not have door-to-door pick-up service. I no one is available to pick upthe child, another attempt will be made to drop off at theregular stop or the camper will be returned to the campoffice and a late ee will be assessed. een railways andElan campers will be dropped off at their assigned stopand will not be brought back to the office.

    10.Tose campers who use MMCC or evening drop offmust be picked up beore 6pm. Afer this time, a late eewill be assessed.

    11.Personal Property MMCC is not responsible ordamage or loss o property.

    12.A limited number o scholarships are avathe basis o financial needs. Scholarship applicbe made through the Main Office, 718-882-40inormation will be kept confidential. S cholarare only considered when a child is registered Full scholarships will not be awarded. Te deascholarship applications is April 15. Scholarshull session only.

    13.Te use o drugs or alcohol is orbidden.also no pets, personal equipment or weapons camp. Violation o this policy will result in thethe camper involved.

    14.Groups are ormed on the basis o age anriendships. All campers will have an opportuin their groups at a pre-camp orientation. We right to change the campers group should we

    appropriate.

    15.All activities and events are subject to chcancellation.

    16.Campers with IEP or special needs mustcamp aware on the registration orm. Failure tthis inormation may result in a change in or rrom camp program based upon the needs o

    17.Te camp bus is used to transport many has a specific time that it is due at the stop. Tnot be made to wait or late amilies as this imentire camp.

    18. Medical Form A medical orm, whichto you, must be completed and given to us by Department o Health regulations stipulate thcan attend camp without a completed medicaenrollments must still have medical orms in tleast 3 days beore camp begins, as it takes timTe orm must be dated within one year o AuTere can be no exceptions. Failure to hand in

    orm on time will result in late charges and evstart dates.

    19.It is the responsibility o the parent to mathat the camp office is in possession o the meWe advise keeping a copy or your records in misplaced.

    20. All payments must be made in ull beorFailure to make ull payment by this date may
