Learn to Stencil and Leave a Lasting ImpressionAs a Retreat participant, you will have the opportunity to learn new and exciting decorative paint applications while creating a lasting artistic expression in a land of exceedingly rich design history.

Our 6th Peacock Painter’s retreat, Moroccan Dreams, will include 2 scheduled stencil classes where we will learn the techniques to create a beautiful stenciled panel based on exotic Persian imagery. Our 2-day, hands-on retreat project will have us recreating the panel patterns on a large scale in one of the guest bedroom suites in the Medina Pavilion.

This will be another creative collaboration byMelanie Royals and Maryam Montague to create “paint magic” at Peacock Pavilions. Many of the patterns that have been designed for our past projects have found their way into our design collections for both Royal Design Studio and Modello Designs, and are now used and enjoyed by artists and designers worldwide.

Our past Peacock Painting Projects have been featured and applauded on the top international design blogs around the world. We are sure that this will be no exception! Additionally, our projects have been captured in photo shoots for magazines such as Lonny, Elle Décor, House Beautiful, and others, with more to come.

Most exciting, much of the work is also featured in Maryam’s book, Marrakesh by Design, a comprehensive and thoughtful look at Moroccan decorating styles, their history, and their meaning-and how to translate it into your own home.

We are looking forward to another creative, inspiring and magical adventure to beautiful Marrakech, and hope that you can join us on this journey.
