    Chairs Foreword

It is with the greatest pride and gratitude that I present our sixth annual reportfor the public. Moroccan Youth UK has made some significant steps in itsefforts this year as we continue to improve our capacity to work more

effectively and efficiently in the field and this has yielded some positiveresults. We are now in a position of working in more than six different citiesand continue to connect with the bodies that enable our work. Our team hascontinued to grow and we are thankful for all the efforts of those whovolunteer and dedicate their time to the organisation.

Our work is a reflection of the maturity of the organisation, although veryyoung and small. We have been recognised by many organisations this yearand our efforts have been noted both here in the UK and in Morocco.Examples of this include our Treasurers well deserved Arabs GroupAchievement award for best community helper in the West and Dix MeilleursFemmes Du Maroc(The ten top Women of Morocco) award. Similarly ouryoungest Trustee and Secretary was recognised by the Mayor of the RoyalBorough of Chelsea and Kensington for her volunteering efforts in theborough. Finally, our chairperson was honoured with being one of the torchbearers for the Olympics.

All these awards are wonderful and enable us to feel that our work is bothrecognised and deemed vital. Our greatest pride comes from the relationshipswe have built with our supporters who continue to encourage our efforts, without you we could not conduct our charitable attempts. I look forward to

your continued support of Moroccan Youth UK and the work it does. I alsohope you find this report of Moroccan Youth UK activities, a valuable insightinto what the organisation has achieved during the past year.
