BAPTIST WOMEN’S WORLD DAY OF PRAYER Monday, November 7th @ 9:30am At Olivet Baptist Church. This years theme is “Arise and Shine” Isaiah 60:1. The guest speaker is April Rivenbark. Lunch is $5. There will also be an evening event from 4-8pm at First Baptist’s Activity Ctr.
FISH FRY Sat, November 12th @ 4:00pm Everyone is asked to bring a beverage and dessert to share. If you would like to help with the prep. work, arrive by 1:30pm at the Picnic Shelter.
35TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION Sun, November 13th @ 12:30pm Join us as we celebrate, with Mike and Peggy, their 35 YEARS of service to WBC with a catered lunch!
CHURCH CONFERENCE Wed, November 16th @ 6:30pm At the Conference we will vote on the 2017 budget and proposed change to the Children’s Directors position.
CHRISTMAS ORNAMENT SALE The WBC children have made Christmas Ornaments to sell for their Lottie Moon Fundraiser this year. The ornaments are $10 each and will be sold after Worship on Nov. 27th, Dec.4th and 11th.
PROJECT “GIVE HOPE” Baltimore MD. Refugee Center This is an opportunity to show God’s love with children ages 2-16 from troubled parts of our world. Some of the suggested items are; blankets, hats, crayons & coloring books, rubber balls etc. Collection begins Nov. 13th thru Dec. 4th.
