These newsletters are dedicated to helping us all live exceptional lives, so excuse me while I dedicate

this issue of Morning R Evening to the truly exceptional life of Pamela D. Johnson, one of God’s most

Remarkable Spirits to have ever come into my life. Pam, my wife of 17+ years, lived those seventeen years doing nothing but exemplify the message of 2Corinthians 13:4-7 in every respect. If I were to char-acterize Pam’s life, it would be to include her in the company of those in Heb. 11:37. where it stated This world was not worthy..., Pam lived life never being entangled by any of this world’s trappings.

It is one year ago today (Sept. 4) that I looked into her face and saw her take her last breath on this side of Glory as she was ushered in the presence of God. That day represented the greatest pain and gain I’ve experienced in my life to this day. My pain in that I would never share the closeness, the dreams or the rest of the plans we looked forward to sharing in this life. My gains in that I have experienced a greater love, respect and regard for life, health, purpose and everything Pam regarded and represented.

This issue includes informative articles for combating life and death illnesses, each of which this remark-able woman lived with the last ten years of her life, Lupus, Diabetes & Cancer. During these years she stood as an inspiration for many, never drawing back in her support to those she loved or her ministry for God. Her was a life that never met a life that she didn’t impact for good, I will forever miss her!

There are few people in this world that probably loved as deeply, forgave as quickly, was as innocent at heart and was as humble in spirit as Pam. She was that person, that called her mother every single night because she knew how much her mom looked forward to her call. Pam too was a genuine student of God words, and among some of her prized reading outside of the scripture were, Battlefield of the mind, Do Yourself A Favor FOR-GIVE, and Never Give Up. If it was possible to earn a de-gree in these, she would have held a PhD.

AN EXAMPLE OF A LIVING EPISTLE

4 Pam endured long while being patient and kind; she was never envious nor jealousy, was not boastful

or vain, and did not carry herself with pride.

5 She was not conceited or arrogant; nor rude (unmannerly) and did not act inappropriately. She never

insisted on her own rights or her own way, and was not self-seeking; she was not touchy, fretful or resent-

ful; she kept no account or paid no attention of any evil that may have been done to her 6 She would not

rejoice at injustice and unrighteousness, but was glad to see that which was right prevail. 7 She remained

strong under anything and everything that came her way and was always ready to believe the best of

most peoples, except the government :-), no really, her hope never faded no matter the circumstances,

and she endured all things gracefully. If Pam was anything, she was ALL of this.

Many of us know what we should do but we have little self-discipline to make it happen. Instead we use labels such as I'm too busy or I didn't have time rather than leaning in and committing to our intention. It's a form of inner laziness that prevents us from getting things done. Ever successful person places value

on their time.

The common theme for many people with time man-agement challenges is the lack of self-discipline. Self-discipline neutralizes the laziness and gives you the ability to get things done and to get it right the first

time.

Here's how to encourage

self-discipline:

1. Make a weekly plan and work out in advance what you want to achieve. This helps you to stay focused and feel in control of what needs to be done. Over time you can feel the momentum of making things happen. Stick to the plan – hold firm!

Remind yourself what's important.

2. Show up! At the scheduled time and be prepared and ready to work. Yes, It's that

simple. It's common sense, but NOT always

common practice. This includes showing up for ALL appointments that you make with

yourself!

3. Meet your deadlines and commitments. This alone will make you more successful. More opportunities will start to present them-selves and others will be attracted to you because you're making things happen.

Success breeds success.

4. Do it even when you don't feel like it. Self-discipline requires a 100% commitment. It's not just a fair-weather thing! It takes self-discipline to invest energy and time to accomplish your goals. This investment pays off every time. Be aware of those lazy voices in your head and challenge them

EVERY time!

5. Take deliberate action. Take action and make things happen. Every day consciously do something towards your intention – small steps. Get deliberate in your thoughts and behaviors. This will inspire you to make differ-ent choices and create new habits. Get going! Self-discipline is a choice that enables you to

chart your own path and create value

HOW TO MAKE WHATEVER IS NOT HAPPENING 4U, HAPPEN

Potent Quotes

In the life and times of Jesus, being invited into a mans house to banquet with them

was no less than entering into a covenant of friendship, peace and security with that

host under his roof. After having accepted this offering of hospitality if a man was to

later bring or cause any evil against the host, It would have been equivalent to commit-

ting a sin, if this was to occur it was customary for the involved parties to sit down at a

table and sup together again in order to restore that covenant of peace and security.

It would have been the knowledge of this custom that the psalmist of Ps 23:5 was hop-

ing the reader who was encountering troubling or challenging times would embrace,

when he stated, “thou prepareth a table before me in the presence of mine enemy”, re-

enforcing the assurance of being under a covenant of peace and security with God.

So if you have plans to purchasing a home, it would be advisable to make it sooner than later.

Ingredients:

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted 1 cup all-purpose flour 2 cups sugar 3 teaspoons baking powder Pinch of salt 1 cup milk 5 cups peeled, pitted and thinly sliced fresh peaches (5 to 7 medium peaches) 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice Several dashes ground cinnamon or ground nutmeg (optional) Yield: 6 to 8 serving Prep Time: 15 minutes Cook Time: 50 minutes

This was my all-time favorite desert that Pam made. I knew when she made this, it was one of the ways she expressed her love for me, knowing how much I loved it. It never lasted more than 36 hours. Cooking Direction:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Pour the melted butter into a 13 by 9 by 2-inch baking dish.

In a medium bowl, combine the flour, 1 cup sugar, the baking powder, and the salt and mix well. Stir in the milk, mixing until just combined. Pour this batter over the butter but do not stir them together

In a small saucepan, combine the peaches, lemon juice, and remaining cup of sugar and bring to a boil over high heat, stirring constantly. Pour the peaches over the batter but do not stir them together. Sprinkle with cinnamon or nutmeg if desired.

Bake in the preheated oven for 40 to 45 minutes or until the top is golden-brown. Serve warm or cold.

SETTING THE HOME STAGE 4 A SUCCESSFUL SELL.

House Staging in Today's Market

When you're trying to sell your house on your own, good house staging is at least as important as how

you put your house on the market. Whether or not you're trying to complete a "distressed" sale, you

want your home to stand in stark contrast from the fire-sale auctions of banks. Along with location and

features, selling a home in today's market is closer to selling a car. You want to convey to the pro-

spective buyer that you've cared for your home since day one. There are no surprises for the buyer,

here. To get the best value, you should present your home to attract buyers who are looking for their

dream home, not a trendy investment property.

You should try to look at your house as though you were a prospective buyer. If you're in the market to

buy a new home, pay attention to how the homes you look at are staged. What grabbed your atten-

tion? What worked? What didn't? At the same time, you need to remember that living in your home is

different from presenting it to a potential buyer. What you like for your house may not necessarily be

what the new homeowner likes. You'll need to set up your home to create a canvass of decorating

opportunities. Un-clutter your house so the prospect can envision the possibilities.

After decades of demonization for their high fat content—which in most cases is heart-healthy mono- and polyunsaturated anyway—nuts have finally claimed their rightful place among other foods long

regarded as healthy.

In fact, nuts are so loaded with nutrients, they could be considered nature’s dietary supplement pill. Of course, roasted in heavy oil and salts, they become a lot less healthy but, properly consumed raw, or in

some cases roasted (namely, chestnuts), nuts deliver a vast array of benefits unique to each.

Eating nut provide a range of benefit to our health to include, promoting heart, vision and eye health, preserving brain and mental function, regulating weight and metabolism, strengthening bones and teeth

as well as boosting immunity at a cellular level.

More Funny Stuff Perhaps the greatest advantage of having a goal is the freedom that goes with having direction in our

life. When your goals are clearly defined and intelligently set, you have, in essence, taken a major step toward programming your left brain. That frees our right brain to be at its creative best.

The best analogy I can give you is the superbly conditioned and gifted athlete who is so disciplined and

committed to the fundamentals of the game that he or she is free to be at their creative best. When unique situations arise where the athlete must improve to make the big play, coaches of gifted athletes

will typically say, “You can’t coach that.”

Direction creates time and frees the brain to think creatively and innovatively. Where are you going today?

most essential nutrient in the human body is oxygen.

The risk of developing cancer can be reduced by having a healthy

lifestyle, including eating a healthy diet, according to the NHS.

No one food has been proven to prevent cancer, but some foods and ingredients have been linked to a higher cancer risk. As many as

one in 10 cancers may be linked to diet.

Having a healthy balanced diet and following the 5-a-day guidance is

important to give the body the nutrients it needs.

The NHS also encourages other healthy lifestyle features to help pre-vent cancer, such as maintaining a healthy weight, drinking less alco-

hol, quitting smoking and protecting the skin from sun damage.

Fruit and veg In the list of top risk factors for cancer in men in the UK, a lack of fruit and vegetables is in second place and is responsible for around 9,641

male cancer cases a year.

Red and Processed Meats Meat is a good source of protein and other nutrients, but too much of some types of meat can be bad for you. The scientists are not advis-ing cutting out meat entirely but having it less often and having

smaller portions will help.

START EATING AS THOUGH YOUR LIFE DEPENDS ON IT, IT DOES. ONLY YOU CAN PREVENT A CANCER

Fat Although the NHS says there's not enough evidence to link too much fat in the diet to the risk of developing cancer, too much fat is bad for health in general. Eating a diet high in saturated fat can make a person put on weight, and being very overweight or obese is linked to an increased risk of develop-ing some cancers. Fiber To Improve Overall Health People who eat a diet high in fibre, including plenty of cereal and whole grains, have a lower risk of colon and rectal cancers, according to a large review of all available evidence published in the BMJ in 2011. Superfoods To Prevent Cancer Some research has looked into the possible protective effects of certain foods against cancer. These are sometimes called superfoods. There's no agreed upon definition of what a superfood really is, but foods which have gained that reputation include blueberries, broccoli and cab-bage because they provide nutrients and chemicals, such as vitamin C, vitamin E, beta-carotene, flavonoids and antioxidants. Superfoods: Beans, Broccoli, Blueberries, Oaks, Oranges, Pumpkins, Salmon, Soya, Spinach, Tea, Tomatoes, Turkey, Walnuts &Yogurt.

There’s no question agents obviously have assess to tools that the public don’t which basically make them the best resource a buyer has for their home search. A lot of the resources that are publically available are most of time out of date or obsolete.., meaning they could cost you that dream home, getting updates and changes to the current listings available days or weeks later…, which in this market is an eternality. There are some resources that a Realtor would prefer you use because they are directly tied into the MLS, such as MyFloridaMSL.com, ListingBook.com, My MLS App, or The MLS Portal which your realtor can set you up on. However the best way is for a Realtor to set you up with DEU, Daily Email Updates, deliver-ing properties that fit your search criteria moments after they have come on the market. These listing comes directly from the MLS to your email, select and based on all the criteria you have given your agent.
