Morgan Park High School Remote Learning Document The Morgan Park High School remote learning plan has 3 parts. We recognize that the document is long but we have included a Table of Contents to assist you in this process. This document includes Google Classroom Codes for all teachers, Office Hours (the times that all teachers can be reached), and the assignments for all teachers for the week of April 13. If you have any questions, please reach out to the teacher directly. We are here to support you during this transition to Remote Learning. The success of your child is still our primary concern. Introduction Morgan Park High School Remote Learning Plan
Teacher Communication Student Expectations Instruction Parents
● Teachers: Teachers will have a schedule of office hours. That time is set aside if students want to ask questions. Teachers will also provide time for Direct Digital Instruction.
● Students: Students will log into Direct Digital Instruction daily. Students will use the office hours to ask questions and receive feedback from teachers.
● Parents: Parents will utilize the office hours to communicate with teachers. Parents will make sure students are using the available communication tools.
● Students: check your Google Classroom, and email daily. Log into the Daily Digital Instruction.
● Students should be engaging and working on assignments daily.
● All students are expected to complete their assignments
● Students should reach out to their teachers via email for support
● Students, if you are feeling stressed or want to talk, please reach out to your counselor
● Students will understand that the goal of Remote Learning is to continue developing academic skills. Remote learning is not in place for the purpose of grading.
● Students: check your Google Classroom, and email daily for instructions.
● Login for the Daily Digital Learning Instruction
● Students should be engaging and working on assignments daily.
● Reference all Remote Learning documents (Google Classroom Code, Remote Learning Plan, and Office Hours)
● Email teachers for clarity.
● Allow 24 hours for responses
● Encourage students to continue to grow as learners.
● Exercise patience as administration and teachers are shifting the learning platform for the benefit of students.

Digital Classroom Instructional Guidance In order for students to get instruction on how to complete a task, teachers will set up Digital Classroom Instruction Meeting times. These sessions will provide an opportunity for teachers to provide instruction to help students understand the learning materials. For those who cannot join while the session is in progress, the files will be loaded on Google Classroom for future reference. We encourage students to log on in real time so that they may be provided with an opportunity to ask questions directly to teachers”.

Comma with a fanboy, comma without a fanboy, comma with a dependent clause at the beginning of the sentence, comma as an appositive. Also, use a comma in between two adjectives that modifies the same noun, (ex: The big, fat man sat on the small seat), a comma that is the first word of the sentence that ends with “ly” (ex: Basically, I have to complete all of my work.), and a freestanding comma (that is a comma after the word no or yes that starts a sentence. (Ex: Yes, I would love to win the lottery.) Additionally, a semicolon that connects 2 independent clauses and a semicolon with a conjunctive adverb. Last, by not least, use a colon in your essay as well.
