BACKGROUND Our building is very fortunate to have what we do inregards to technology However, we lack in our use of tools If we would utilize the tools that we have, it wouldmake instructional time easier. 3. DIFFERENT USES - BLOG When a teacher uses Moodle they are able to Blog each day. Teacher use the Blog to Give updates Post assignments Add activityI have blogged when the Lessonstudents multiplicationpacket is due. QuizMultiplication packets weregiven Friday October 14 andare due on Friday, October21. You may turn it in earlyonce it is completed. 6. DIFFERENT USES DISCUSSION BOARD Teachers can also useMoodle as a way forstudents to collaborateand reflect onassignments using adiscussion board. Students will be able to click on the discussion forum.The students will see what thediscussion forum is about and posttheir response. 7. DIFFERENT USES ATTACHING When a teacher uses DOCUMENTS Moodle they are able to attach documents. Some documents that teachers attach are Notes Study guide Lessons Homework I informed the parents and/or students about the study guide and attached the study guideWhen they open thestudy guide they will beable to see it, as well, asprint it off. 8. DIFFERENT USES FORMULATING QUIZZES When a teacher usesMoodle they have theability to make quizzes. Making a quiz Gives studentsfeedback Teacher do not have tograde them Students can click on the quiz. Once they click on the quiz they can begin taking it. 9. ASSESSMENT After completing the professional development theteachers will Create a blog using Moodle for classroom purpose. Formulate a discussion board for students to collaborateusing Moodle Attach documents to their Moodle Assess students using the quiz feature on Moodle
