Intro scene Storyboard

In the intro scene the four cars will be presented on the TV show’s sound stage and ten they

will explode one by one. Parts from the exploded cars will fall from above and the camera

glass will crack from the force of the explosion. Then the shows logo will drop from above

also.

Level 1 Concept Map

The level is called the “Boneyard”. It is supposed to be an old plane graveyard. At the start the player

will be in the start room and waiting for three seconds and the door animation to finish before

exiting and seeing the map. The initial path will be blocked by a falling obstacle and the player must

veer to the right down a ramp and then proceed under the platform ahead. Then continue on and

turn left twice and go up the ramp and head for the checkpoint. Once through the checkpoint the

player drops back down and goes passed the falling obstacle and two old jumbo wheels. Then it’s up

a high ramp with a small jump to the right avoiding a few obstacles. Then on to the right to another

small jump into the next checkpoint which is inside a hollowed out rusty plane. The player must

dodge two obstacles on the inside before exiting with a slight right turn. This in turn leads to a long

right turn and onto the wing o the plane and a little ramp up. The player jumps over the centre of

the plane and lands on the other wing and must then turn right into the finish.

Dune Buggy Concept

The dune buggy will be rusty in appearance and have big 5 spoke alloy wheels. Large

headlights and mesh grill on the front, a large exhaust pipe at the back and a roll cage on the

side. There will be a flag coming from the roof or side. The inside will be pretty bare and

feature a steering wheel and a seat. Finally at the back the bombs will positioned so the

player can see them at all times from the main camera view.

Hollow Rusty Plane

The hollow rusty Plane will be elevated above the level and the player must drive through it

and across its wings in order to get to the finish. It is a simple tube with two wings and little

ramp. It will have an old rusty look.

Holographic Emitter

The emitter will be positioned randomly around the level and represents the holographic

stage and its creation. It is a simple double spinning tube. Each tube rotates at a different

angle and speed. They will appear holographic as they spin.

Start and Support Props

The start and prop cage are basically one in the same only the support bit can be resized

and placed wherever needed. The start is made up of four blocks connected by a cage. The

top of the cage features an lcd screen which displays a scrolling message.

Iron Cage

The iron cage will be the level border and will be higher than the highest point the player

can reach in the car. It is basically an iron mesh with sharp points at the major support

junction points. In the centre of the iron cage will be a metal mesh or lattice.
