In doing so, we became the first private public listed Chinese company to invest in the upstream unconventional oil & gas exploration & production sector in the USA. Certified as an Oil & Gas operator in Texas by RAILROAD COMMISSION OF TEXAS on July, 2013. Acquired 100% working interest of 1,112 acres of oil & gas leases in the Permian basin, Texas in September, 2013. Initiated the drilling of our first appraisal well in the Permian Basin in May, 2014. As an equity partner, participated in the drilling activities for 111 horizontal wells operated by Carrizo, and 110 horizontal wells operated by Whiting Oil & Gas and Noble Energy in Niobrara by June, 2014. Acquired 100% working interest of about 5,700 acres oil & gas leases in the Permian Basin in August, 2014.

Our meter accuracy, especially on the BS&W or water cut is second to none, as proven repeatedly and also as per actual performance as seen in the field. Besides our factory certified test loop, we have had performance and accuracy trials for our meters at world recognized multiphase facilities like National Engineering Laboratory (NEL) in the UK as well as the live crude loop at DOD, China. We also have had many successful customer field trials to our credit, both individually against reference metering as also as part of client multi vendor trials.

Haimo is accredited to ISO 9001, ISO14001 and ISO18001 as per the IMS quality system and QA / QC / HSE is an integral part of our business activities.

While the initial dream of the founding team has been more than realized, the new vision at Haimo of this decade, is to transform the organization and the company into an Independent Energy Firm.

Towards this goal, on 20th May, 2010, Haimo first successfully listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange (China) with Stock Code 300084. Then in 2012, Haimo acquired a 14.3 % / USD 27.5 million working interest in Carrizo Oil & Gas, Inc.s (Nasdaq: CRZO) Niobrara shale oil property in DJ Basin, Colorado, and thus became the first listed private sector Chinese company to enter the upstream sector of the US unconventional oil and gas industry. This marked the first step towards the new vision of becoming an Independent Energy Firm.

In 2012, Haimo also acquired Lanzhou Chenglin Drilling Equipment LLC, in China, manufacturers of quality high pressure fluid components and fluid ends for fracturing pumps, towards enhancing the companys capabilities to cater to the growing market potential, both in China and overseas, for the unconventional oil and gas sector.

In the published 2013 annual report, Haimo formally announced its new vision and strategy to become an Independent Energy Firm, and in Sep. 2013, Haimo acquired its second shale property in the US at the Permian Basin in West Texas with a 100% operating working interest. In June 2014, Haimo announced its third acquisition of shale property in the US, again in the Permian Basin. With this, the total net acreage leased by Haimo in the US as of July, 2014 is around 13,000 acres. Haimo Oil & Gas LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Haimo, has been a licensed oilfield operator in the state of Texas, USA since 2013.

As the upstream sector of Chinese oil and gas industry opens up to the private sector, Haimo will be actively pursuing the opportunities to expand the E&P business in China in the near future.
