It is en- demic to Montserrat, and is the only of its species in the Eastern Caribbean region. It has a length from 7 inches to about 16.14 inches measuring from its snout- to-vent. (Snout-Vent Length: A stan- dard measurement of body length. The measurement is from the tip of the nose (snout) to the anus (vent), and excludes the tail.)
