Department of Computer Science organized a Seminar on 14th

September 2019 for second year Computer Science Students. The Resource Person

Department of Computer Science organized a Mock Interview on 16th

September 2019 for third year Computer Science Students. The Resource

Person for the programme is Mr.M.Prabhu ,CEO, Zengage Technologies, Coimbatore. A total of 123 Students participated in the programme

Department of Computer Science organized a Seminar on earnings on Social Media 17th

September 2019 for first year Computer Science Students.

Coimbatore and Mr. P.Pragash, Graphic Designer, Sun Info Media, Coimbatore. A total of 52 Students participated in the programme

Department of Software Systems organized Guest Lecture on “Big Data with Python” on 21th

September 2019 for Third year UG Software

Systems Students. The Resource Person for the programme is Mr. Prashath R, Member Technical Staff, Serendio Inc, Coimbatore. A total of 58

Students participated in the programme.

Department of BCA Organized an Exhibition for BCA Department Students on 16-09-2019. The Total Number of students participated is 214 and

exhibit their projects.

Department of BCA conducted Hands on Training about Web Technology 18-09-2019 for the first year BCA students. The total number of

participants are 106

On 14.09.19, Intradepartmental Function was conducted in CSA Department for Quiz, Kahoot, Gaming, Nail Art, Facial, Photography, Tik Tok,

Mehandi, Debugging, Keyboard Racing, Arts and Crafts from 10am to 4pm.

On 19.09.19 and 20.09.19, SKCET National Conference was held on Recent Advances in Computing (NCRAC – 2019), Inaugurated by Mr. Arun

Rajarathinam (Head of Engineering – Active Safety, Robert Bosch) at around 10am in Convention Centre and CSA Staffs namely Saraswathi. S,

Lekha. J, Devaraju. S, D. Saravana Prakash, Reshmi. S, Jawahar. S, Abdul Faiz. A, along with Students namely Gokul Gowtham. S, Nirmmal. L,

Liza Rani. S, Rahul Raja. R of II BSC CSA A and Abinaya, Kirthika, Nithya of III BSC CSA A presented papers.

On 21.09.19, Alumni Interaction was conducted to Third Year CSA Students on “Programming Languages: An Insight” by Joel Prince, Associate

Project Performance Analyst, CTS in Seminar Hall 2 at 10am to 4pm.

On 21.09.19, Alumni Interaction was conducted to Second Year CSA Students on “Placement Awareness and Database Concepts” by Phani Teja

Dutt. T, System Engineer CTS and Sivapriyaa. V. R, Process Associate CTS in I310 around 12pm to 2pm.

On 26.09.19, ECS HOD, Mr. Sambath guided CSA students regarding NPTEL issues in CSA Staff room.

On 27.09.19, CSA second year and third year students participated in the Youth Summit, ICT Academy 2019 in Krishna Hall.

On 29.09.19, CSA Faculties namely Devaraju. S, Jawahar. S, and Logeshwari. P attended NPTEL exam on Courses – Introduction to OS,

Introduction to C and Demystifying Networking respectively.

On 30.09.19, Swachh Action Plan (SAP) of SKASC in collaboration with Mahatma Gandhi National Council of Rural Education (MGNCRE),

Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Hyderabad is organized One Day Workshop on "Rural Immersion -

Community Engagement" by Mr. BSC Naveen Kumar, Senior Faculty, MGNCRE, MHRD, Govt of India, Hyderabad in Seminar Hall 2 around

9.30am.

1 10-09-19 SKASC | In- House Workshop

SKASC organised an in–house Workshop for Project

Proposal Writing and Publication. Dr. Muthamilarasan,

NIPGR, New Delhi was the Resource Person. The

Workshop was held for the Heads of Department of

Electronics and Communication Systems,Computer

Science Streams, Bio Science and Mathematics and

also for all the Ph. D. holders in the same arena. The

Workshop witnessed many vivacious faculty, enquiring

necessities to supplement their projects. Information was

exchanged and the Workshop proved to be fruitful.

2 10-09-19 SKASC |Palindrome Day

SKASC celebrated Palindrome Day in commemoration

of today, 9.10.2019, which is a Special Date. Palindrome

is a word, number, phrase or other sequence of

characters which reads the same backward as forwards,

such as “taco cat” or “madam” or “race car” or the

number “10801”. It is believed that only this generation

can witness this Special Date. In view of this our

students held placards to remember the day in a special

way.
