1. Task Order Overview 1.1. Description of the Task Order:

Infrastructure in Gaza suffers from years of neglect and lack of investment. The USAID Mission

Infrastructure Needs Program II (INP II) focuses on the rehabilitation and construction of roads,

schools, and water & wastewater projects. The USAID objective is to help the Palestinian economy

by improving Palestinians access to basic infrastructure and services.

The objective of this Task Order is to construct two new water reservoirs, two new booster pump

stations, and their associated supply and distribution pipelines, in order to improve distribution and

increase access to clean drinking water to the population of Gaza, the first is Al Atatrah area located

north of the Gaza Strip, the project at Al Atatrah area includes the construction of a 3800m3 ground

reservoir that will be constructed in place of Al Atatrah abandoned elevated water tank deteriorated

to be demolished, and also includes the supply and installation of a Skid Mounted Booster Pump

Station and the supply and installation of a new Booster Pump Station connected to a new UPVC

distribution network with an approximate total length of 6.3 KLM varying in diameter. The second

area is Nuseirat, located in the heart of the Gaza Strip, the Nuseirat project includes the construction

of a 3800m3 ground reservoir and a new Booster Pump Station connected to a new UPVC distribution

network with an approximate total length of 5.2 KLM varying in diameter.

3. Safety TMGI has submitted the updated safety Plan for the month of July, 2017 to the CMC on

September 13, 2017 for review and approval and returned back with action A on September 17,

2017. TMGI has submitted the updated safety Plan for the month of August, 2017 to the CMC

on September 14, 2017 for review and approval and returned back with action A on September

17, 2017.Safety plan for month of September 2017 will be submitted during the next month report

period.

Moreover, safety plan will be updated on monthly basis.

returned back with action A on September 17, 2017.

Environmental Mitigation Plan (EMMP) update for month of August was not submitted, update

will be submitted during the next month report period.

TMGI will update the Environmental Monitoring and Mitigation Plan on monthly basis.

5. Traffic Control Measures TMGI implemented the approved traffic plan on reservoir site according to the approved sub-

mittals and shall be updated upon condition changes.

5.1.1. Project 1 (ATA) No update on Al Atatrah pipeline traffic plan during this reporting period.

Traffic signs and barriers are installed onsite according to approved TCP.

5.1.2. Project 2 (NUS) No update on Nuseirat pipeline traffic plan during this reporting period.

Traffic signs and barriers are installed onsite according to approved TCP.

6. Risk Management & Mitigation Measures TMGI has submitted the updated Construction Risk Management Program (CRMP) for the

months of June and July to CMC on September 13, 2017 for review and approval and

returned back with action A on September 14, 2017.

Construction Risk Management Program (CRMP) update for the month of August was not

submitted, update will be submitted during the next month report period.

TMGI will update the Risk Management Program on monthly basis.

Tough restrictions on travel permits between Gaza and West Bank and borders closure are project

risks concerns (Closure and GRAMM system impede delivery of project materials).

8. Gender Action Plan Morganti employed one female Office manager. The Subcontractor SAK also hired a female office

11. Progress and Scheduling

The Construction phase started on January 21, 2016, preconstruction submittals were closed. Fur-thermore, Materials and Shop drawings submittals are ongoing. TMGI has submitted the Updated CPM Construction Schedule August 31, 2017 Rev. A on Sep-tember 13, 2017 and returned back with action B on September 20, 2017. Furthermore, Materials, Shop drawings and as built drawing submittals are ongoing. TMGI will update the CPM Schedule on monthly basis For more details, please refer to Annex B
