Keep Your Eyes on Jesus!
We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion
who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy
awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its
shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside
God’s throne.
Hebrews 12:2 (NLT)

CHURCH COVENANT (to be read on first Sunday in lieu of Mission & Vision Statement)
Leader: Having been led, as we believe, by the Spirit of God, to receive the Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior, and on the profession
of our faith, having been baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, we do now in the presence of
God, angels, and this assembly, most solemnly and joyfully enter into covenant with one another, as one body, in Christ.
Congregation: We engage, therefore, by the aid of the Holy Spirit, to walk together in Christian love; to strive for the advancement
of this Church, in knowledge, holiness, and comfort; to promote it’s prosperity and spirituality; to sustain it’s worship, ordinances,
discipline and doctrine; to contribute cheerfully and regularly to the support of the ministry, the expenses of the church, the relief of
the poor, and the spread of the gospel through all nations.
Leader: We also engage to maintain family and secret devotion; to religiously educate our children; to seek the salvation of our
kindred and acquaintances; to walk circumspectly in the world; to be just in our dealings, faithful in our engagements; and exem-
plary in our deportment; to avoid all tattling, backbiting, and excessive anger; to abstain from the sale and use of intoxicating drink
as a beverage and to be zealous in our efforts to advance the kingdom of our Savior.
Congregation: We further engage to watch over one another in brotherly love; to remember each other in prayer; to aid each other
in sickness and distress; to cultivate Christian sympathy in feeling and courtesy in speech; to be slow to take offense; but always
ready for reconciliation, and mindful of the rules of our Savior to secure it without delay.
Leader: We moreover engage that when we remove from this place we will, as soon as possible, unite with some other church,
where we can carry out the spirit of this Covenant and the principles of God’s Word.
All: And now unto Him who brought again from the dead, Our Lord Jesus, be the Power and Glory forever. Amen

ST. PAUL FOOD PANTRY DRIVE—
HELP feed the Hungry via the St. Paul Food Pantry.
Open Tuesday—Thursday 10 AM—2 PM
Matthew 25:35-40 New Living Translation (NLT)
“For I was hungry, and you fed me….Then these
righteous ones will reply, ‘Lord, when did we ever
see you hungry and feed you?....... When did we
ever see you sick or in prison and visit you?.... And
the King will say, ‘I tell you the truth, when you
did it to one of the least of these my brothers and
sisters, you were doing it to me!’
It is suggested, as a family ministry, to remember those
less fortunate than you, by purchasing an item or two to
contribute to the food pantry when you do your grocery
shopping. Also, gift cards for $10 or less for a local gro-
cery store are great items for families needing milk, eggs,
meat, etc.
We are looking for a few good volunteers to help keep the
food pantry clean, current dates on contributions, etc.
For information see Sis. Barbara Wiggins

Cenpatico® manages behavioral health pro-
grams that are among the most innovative in
the nation. We manage care through compre-
hensive service plans, which may include
goals involving employment, housing, educa-
tion, and social involvement. We support our
members with services, such as peer and fam-
ily support, that help keep them in their com-
munities.
For example, in Arizona, members have ac-
cess to coordinators and job coaches to help
obtain and maintain employment. We employ
a Peer Business Coach to work specifically
with people in recovery who wish to start their
own business.

What a friend we have in Jesus
All our sins and griefs to bear
What a privilage to carry
Ev'rything to God in prayer!
Oh, what peace we often forfeit
Oh, what needless pain we bear
All because we do not carry
Ev'rything to God in prayer
Have we trials and temptations
Is there trouble anywhere
We should never be discouraged
Take it to the Lord in prayer:
Can we find a friend so faithful
Who will all our sorrows share
Jesus knows our every weakness
Take it to the Lord in prayer.
Are we weak and heavy laden
Cumbered with a load of care
Precious Saviour, still our refuge
Take it to the Lord in prayer:
Do the friends despise, forsake thee
Take it to the Lord in prayer
In His arms He'll take and shield thee
And you will find a solace there.
