It is a matter of great pride and satisfaction for Noble group of institutions to bring out

the consistent 16th News Letter Released from the Institutions. The College has

made tremendous progress in all areas-academic, non-academics, capacity building

relevant to staff and students. The Engineering College has achieved 25 lakhs grant

for design lab as another milestone in getting development. NGI arranged one-week

short term training program for Computer Engineering and Information Technology

Department in collaboration with GTU. I appreciate all staffs for their hard work

during this.

I am condent that this issue of News Letter will send a positive signal to the staff and

students. A News Letter is like a mirror which reects the clear picture of all sorts of

activities undertaken by different institutions.

Students, you have studies tremendously hard all through this academic Year. With a

Recently IMBA Semester 5 students performed a CSR activity as a part of the syllabus with

Septuagenarian people at “APNA GHAR” in which they distributed sweets, had lunch, entertained the

Noble Group of Institution appreciates the CSR activity done by the MBA students as a part of their project of MAP. "A Day with Special Children", in which students called the disabled kids from the town of Makhiyala at Santvana Viklang Trust with the help of The Grand Patel Restaurant and provided them lunch. Spreading joy makes us compassionate and such activities help students to be kind towards their approach for society.

3. Design Engineering Exhibition

As Part of Design Engineering subject, We Noble Engineering College had arranged exhibition on innovative project prototypes with working model developed by 5th sem engineering students on 14th September, 2019. In this more than 30 projects had exhibited and 1000 + students and faculties of NGI had visited this exhibition. On behalf of Noble Group of Institutions we appreciate hard work and innovative ideas of students also we congratulate them.

The actual purpose of celebrating Navratri is to precede the belief of the good ending or

overcoming the bad or good over evil. As a part of this, NGI Family celebrates navratri

function on 28th September, 2019 at Noble Group of Institutions Campus, Junagadh.

1000+ students and 100+ faculties of NGI from different courses were joined that

function. All of them were really enjoyed a lot. Also we declared winners for well play &

well dress in students.

5. Rakshabandhan Celebration

40 Girls Students of 3rd and 5th semester with 5 faculties of computer Engineering and Information Technology department were prepared rakhis and tied more than 900 rakhis to the different police station of junagadh city, Police Ofcers at Bhesan-Junagadh police station and also at Police training camp in choki, Junagadh.

IGP and SP of Junagadh city Shri Subhash Trivedi Sir and Shri Saurabh Singh Sir appreciated way of celebrating rakshabandhan.

7. Expert Talk by Dr. Abhay Raja for MBA & IMBA students

Dr. Abhay Raja is now a visiting faculty and subject expert of Finance at Noble Group of Institutions Junagadh for MBA and IMBA program. He has worked with Shanti Business School, Ahmedabad and Atmiya University, Rajkot as a core faculty. We welcome him to the Noble Family!

2-Days Financial Workshop on “Indian Financial System” was organized for the students of MBA & IMBA on 3rd and 4th of September by . Prof. Vinit Upadhyay, a Professional Financial Trainer from Hinduja College, Mumbai University was invited as a trainer. We are grateful to him for his time and knowledge.

8. Expert Talk by Vinit Upadhyay for MBA & IMBA students

Noble Engineering College Organized an Expert's Seminar for Final Year Degree & Diploma Engineering Students. Around 160 students will be a part of this seminar for preparation. We have invited Three Experts from Rubicon Skil l Development Pvt Ltd.

10. Seminar on Cyber Security and Ethical Hacking by Star Certication

In the present world where cyber attackers are well equipped with state of the art and sophisticated technologies, the risk for hacks and security breaches is at its peak. For this particular reason CE/IT department arranged seminar on Ethical Hacking & Cyber Security by IANT in association with Star Certication.

One week short term training program on "Latex, Photoshop, Social Media, Wordpress, Google Apps & MS-ofce" Organized by GTU in collaboration with Computer Engineering Department, Noble Group of Institutions, Junagadh during 16th - 20th September, 2019. There were 52 participants who participated in the STTP. The participants were from different faculties like Master of Engineering, Degree and Diploma Computer Engineering and Information Technology Department Faculty members and students also.

The short term training program started on 16th September, 2019 with welcome address by Petron Shri V. P. Trivedi, Hon. Director Dr. Vipul Vekariya, They express the important of different tools in our life, and they also appreciate our initiative to make the value addition in our faculties and students.

A short lm is a lm production type which makes effort to achieve the subject it addresses in a short time. Students of third year Noble Architecture College have created a ‘short lm’ in Elective V subject of B.Arch as per GTU’s syllabus. The short lm is based on the theme to understand consequences of having emotions of fear and darkness. Short lm making is an effective tool in architecture which helps develop ability to explore numerous art and music genre, understanding of ‘lm’ and ‘lm making’ as well as budget programming and project management.

At the onset of new academic year 2019-20 the students of third year and rst year developed a space for the worship of Ganesh Chaturthi as part of the GTU’s elective subject of Sociology and Architecture in fth semester of B.Arch and shelter design studio-1 subject in rst semester respectively. The Students gained hands on experience on bamboo construction, sheter design and art appreciation and aesthetics as part of our societal traditions. Ganesh Chaturthi is a festival celebrated to honor and respect Lord Ganesha's birthday.Lord Ganesha signies good fortune and prosperity. It is important for architecture students to learn about and know about the history of our society and its cultural celebrations. The eco-friendly clay idol symbolizes the spirituality and simplicity of Indian culture.

NGI Visits



1. Industrial visit is very important to get more practical knowledge for engineer. For this Mechanical Department was organized industrial visit at Adani Group of Companies at Mundra on 5th & 6th October, 2019. Total 78 students and 2 faculty were took part in this visit. Students visited Adani Port & SEZ, Adani Wilmar ltd., and Adani Power ltd and West Port in this Industrial visit. The visit was intended to have knowledge of major components used in power plants with their working and to understand the process of power generation. Students were seen live demonstration of coal transfer from coal mine to boiler with the help of belt conveyor, DM water Plant, Condenser unit, cooling tower, Cooking Oil Filtration & Packaging, Container loading & unloading in Ship.

Diploma Mechanical Department has organized Industrial Visit for 35 students of 3rd & 5th semester along with 2 faculties for developing their practical knowledge and familiar to real Industrial work. Students learn different casting process & diesel engine production system as well as inspection of diesel engine.

4. Students of IMBA visited Girnar Industries on 1st of October 2019 which are the manufacturer and exporter of Castor Oil & its products. This visit helped the students in understanding the industry options in a better way.

6. Students of Third year Noble Architecture College visited the proposed Lower Station Terminal Site of Girnar Ropeway located within Gir Sanctury Forest Area for the study of layouts that comprise of ticket counters, waiting area, and amenities like food courts and shopping area in an integrated manner under various steel roof structure. The students got the opportunity to meet Er Manoj Panwar vice president of ‘Udan Khatola’ the ofcial name for the Government’s venture to construct rope way service on mount Girnar. They gained useful insight and knowledge of the tourist ow at various places of lower terminal.Mr Manoj and the students have agreed upon working together to provide further architectural assistance for future requirements at both the terminals.
