In a small town in North Dakota it had become a boomtown, oil had been struck in the

area, bringing two large oil companies for drilling. The oil companies were using a fairlynew technique to reclaim the oil its call Fracking.

The small town citizens felt they could put up with the loud noise and eplosions,if itmeant a steady stream of high paying !obs.

"eroy and #ohnny both worked in the oil fields dri$ing water trucks they were making%&'.'' a hour so they had no complaints.(ne early )aturday morning both were off of work so they decided to go fishing in the

lake in the backyard of "eroy*s house.

+obby "ee told me he caught twenty +ass in the lake last weekend. "eroy tells #ohnny.

I ha$e been hearing the same thing, do you think it*s from Fracking that people are all ofsudden catching a ton of fish in this lake.

#ohnny asked "eroy ossible the Fracking could ha$e caused a crack underneath thelakes floor that may ha$e brought in all the new fish. "eroy eplained.

+y noon the pair had caught o$er thirty fish and was !ust about to call it quits when"eroy shouted look at this-

ill you look at this- #ohnny leaned o$er the boat watch "eroy reel in his catch, it wasweird.

/e pulled in what looked like a !et black baby (ctopus. (nce he had the strange creatureon board his boat, he reached up to take the hook out of one of his tentacles, once heremo$ed the hook the creature latched onto his right hand.

"eroy felt a burning sensation as if he was being cut.

The more they tried to pull the creature off of "eroy*s hand the more the creature latchedon and the more pain "eroy felt.

(nce #ohnny realized the creature was totally stuck on "eroy*s hand.

/ey we need to get you back to house to get something to pull this off your hand-

"eroy 1oaned in agony as it watched the black (ctopus type creature tighten it*s grip.

3ou gotta get it off- 3ou gotta get it off me now-

4alm down we will be back to the house in a minute.

(nce back at "eroy*s cabin type home.

2et him some water 1aggie #ohnny tells "eroy*s wife.

"eroy sets on the li$ing room couch now screaming in pain. It keeps tightening aroundmy hand and I can feel it chewing on my hand 3ou gotta get this thing off of me-

The pain was to much for "eroy and he passed out.

4all 5677 1aggie-

hile 1aggie called emergency, I picked up "eroy*s lifeless body and drug him to his bedroom bed.

I ha$e called 5677 they should be here shortly 1aggie called from the front room.

2ood #ohnny replied,he is sort of pale. 0t least the aramedics will know how toget that thing off his hand.

1aggie and #ohnny discussed what happened to "eroy in the front room while they

waited for the aramedics to arri$e. "eroy lay asleep in his bedroom.

hat is that thing #ohnny-I don*t know 1aggie it looked like a baby (ctopus that had been co$ered in oil-




)irens blared as the paramedics approached.

/e is in here #ohnny told the arri$ing paramedics-

The two paramedics and #ohnny entered the room.

hat the 888888- #ohnny yelled.

"eroy was gone all that was left on the bed was the slimy residue of the lake creature.

1aggie came in and looked down at the bed and began screaming "eroy- "eroy were is"eroy-

#ohnny tried to comfort her as they inspected the bedroom they noticed thewindow open and a slime trail co$ering the window pane. It looks like it went out side-

#ohnny and the two paramedics rushed out side and was terrified by what they saw, the(ctopus like creature had de$oured "eroy and had grown to be at least 9 feet tall.

(ne of the paramedics walked closer take a better look and the giant tentacles of thecreature snapped out and attached itself to the medics chest.

The man screamed in anguish, the tentacle pulled him to the creatures mouth and it began eating him. 4runch-4runch-4runch- 3ou could hear the medics bones crushing.

#ohnny ran into the house and got "eroy*s shotgun and began blasting the creature.

The creature squealed and made a mad dash for the lake, #ohnny kept reloading theshotgun and firing but the creature made it back into the lake and disappeared.

The net day the )herrif*s department brought out a net and drug the lake all day to tryand catch the creature but they found nothing. "ater that e$ening at "eroy*s house.

1aggie- The oil money that has come to this town has been both a blessing and a curse

the money is good but the Fracking and oil spills ha$e really messed up the sea lifearound here.

In :ohnert ark 4alifornia three good friends went to )onoma state college, "onnie,Teal

and ;urt. They were middle class yuppies each one of their families were well off andall three had the best of e$erything.

(ne Friday afternoon right before sundown the three were at "onnie*s apartment tryingto think of something to get into for the e$ening.

"onnie I am telling you it wont take more than a half a hour for us to go up the hill graba few plants and be back to ha$e a ma!or smoke out for the e$ening.

:ohnert ark is known for it*s mountainous areas with acres and acres of fertile ground,the surrounding area has long been used for growing high grade 1ari!uana.

I don*t know ;urt I heard a lot of stuff about traps being up there.

1an don*t worry about that, my boy < +lunts went up there last weekend and came backwith almost three pounds of high grade green.

"onnie and Teal got to thinking hard about what ;urt was saying, if they could get e$enone pound that would be a lot of weed to party on and they could sell some too.The two

thought.

(kay let*s wait until it gets dark and run up there and snatch a few pounds- "onnielaughed.

0 about two hours later they began the trip up the winding mountain roads that wouldlead them to the field ;urt*s friend < blunts had told him about.

#ust ahead he could see a young black girl about eighteen years old she has long blackhair a $ery nice figure that was shown off by her daisy duke shorts.

0ll three started whistling as they dro$e by.

;urt stopped the )=> and backed up on the deserted road.

(pen my window ;urt Teal stated in the passenger seat he had a hard time rolling downthe window.

/e cutie what in the world are you doing walking by yourself on this dark mountainroad-

The girl did not respond and kept walking.

3ou smell that ;urt we got to be close, after pulling o$er on the dirt road they couldmake out the 9 feet high weed plants on each side of the road.

The whole time the girl said nothing.




+aby me and my friends here need some attention you know what I mean ;urt asked thegirl.

The girl remained silent.

"onnie get that blanket I ha$e in the back we can do it right here.

)o once they all got out of the car "onnie laid the blanket on a small patch of grass offof the side of the road.

e are about to ha$e a ball ;urt laughed as began trying to remo$e the girl*s clothes.

)top- No- don*t do this- the young girl screamed.

That seemed to turn the e$il trio on more and as they started to undress.

The young girl broke free and began to run.

"onnie go and get my dinner and bring back here.

"onnie was already running behind the girl all he could think of was getting his shot at

the teen aged innocent girl.

The girl disappeared into the tall weed plants as "onnie looked for her he tripped o$erwhat felt like a steel wire drawn taught.

/e fell down face first, as his body hit the ground there was a loud )N0-0ccompanied by a horrific scream-

hen "onnie tripped and fell he landed on one of the many booby traps that had beenset to guard the weed on that mountain, the bear trap closed on "onnie in the worst place

imaginable the & inch stainless steel claws clamped shut on "onnie*s testicles.

/e bled to death shortly after."et me go and see whats up stay and watch the car Teal-




;urt began walking in the direction that he heard "onnie holler,when he heard a twigcrack he looked and saw the young girl.

In a split second he forgot all about "onnie screaming like that,his focus now was on theyoung girl.

hile chasing after the little girl ;urt ran into almost the same problem that "onnie had./e tripped a booby trapped trip wire but this time instead of him fallen into a bear trapthe way "onnie did ;urt initiated a arrow that was pull back and released if any onetripped on the well placed wire trap. It in turn shot the arrow and it went right throughand got stuck in ;urt*s throat.

+y then teal began to worry it had become deadly silent after ;urt left.)o he began looking for them ;urt- "onnie- Do you hear me-

0s he kept walking he stumbled onto ;urt*s body. /e was terrified he began running andhe tripped o$er "onnie*s body.

That*s when he knew he was going to die he ran hard as could to scared to go back to the:ange :o$er they dro$e up in. 0fter running for at least fifteen minutes I saw housewith a light on up ahead. I was relie$ed .

ho is it a black middle aged women answered.

I really need your help he says through the door both of my friends ha$e been killed please call the police my phone isn*t working up here-

They all claimed she helped them, all hadgotten lost up there. 1y baby was a 0ngel but if you did something to her she could bemean as the De$il himself.

+ut he was to scared to go back to the car and after he knew the lady was the girl*smother he was afraid to go in her house a well.

)o he walked and ran fast as he could to the main high way road at the bottom of themountain.

Finally he could hear the cars and see headlights !ust ahead on the freeway.

(nce he was right at the edge of the freeway as cars passed, he sighed wow I made it hethought I was going to die up there.

0ll of sudden he felt a cold breeze behind him he looked back and there stood the girllooking at him with a blank stare.

It terrified Teal, he turn and ran right into the freeway traffic, a big rig truck had no timeto stop, it hit and ran o$er Teal*s body.

night and they were going to smoke,drink and party until the cows come home.

:ed what up, e$ery thing is set, they should be o$er here by nine.

"isa )tansfield and here three roomates all work at the +udwieser plant downtown)t "ouis.They had a rough week and can*t wait to get out and ha$e a good time.

"annette hands :ed a small plastic bag, the contents looks green but there is some brown residue as well.I aint ne$er seen no weed look like this- :ed blurts out to nobody in particular.

Fired up- ;# tells :ed.

:ed takes a hit and passes it to ;# and then the blunt is passed around the room.

1an--- this weed is garbage no kick no nothing :ed started rantin on, 0nd you thoughtwhat I was smok..... :ed couldn*t e$en finish the sentence all of a sudden he had themost etreme weed high he had e$er eperienced.

I am messed up orsha blurts out.

The weed seemed to ha$e a delayed effect while some of them felt really high othersstill felt normal.

I still don*t feel nothing- ;# states trying to re light the blunt that went out.

0ll of a sudden :ed $omited all o$er the couch.

1an your going to ha$e to clean that up look what you did to my couch-

:ed leaned o$er to )herry and bit her on the !aw, he was hanging on to her !aw by histeeth the way a pit bull does his meat at feeding time.

The poor girl screamed as loud as she could.

The other*s stood there in shock for a moment not belie$ing their eyes.

0ll the girls ran into the bed room ecept for "isa ;# was her boyfriend and she notgoing to standby and watch this freak kill him.

)he grabbed a large steak knife out of the kitchen and stabbed :ed $ery deeply into his back. :ed fell to the ground and so did ;#.

"isa screamed for the girls to go and get some help.

hat do you think happened-

3eah something about that weed wasn*t right it tasted funny.

ell he did mention he out some grounded up bath salts to make the weed potent but Ididn*t think it was a big deal "annette tells the girls.

Not a big deal "isa 3ells two people maybe dead because of it go and get some help

)o the two girls ran out of the apartment to go and get help while "isa stayed backminded after ;#.

The two other guys that were coming o$er to party that night had !ust arri$ed and weregetting out of there car.

The two young men race to ;#*s open door to find "isa eating his face off.
